Mission: Mission 23: Foundations of Stone
Location: Various Locations - USS Roanoke
Timeline: 1000Hrs - January 26th, 2391

Lieutenant Jiao Anderson gently tugged at her duffel which she had slung over one shoulder as she and her two daughters had come aboard earlier. "Now you two... select your room each and move in... try not to kill each other doing it."

Sian and Kimora shared a look as the regarded their mother. "Its not our fault..."

"You heard me." she said to her thirteen year old girls. "I mean it this time.."

"Yes mom" Kimora responded as Sian let out a soft sigh, before Jiao turned and departed her new home and the troubles contained within, so go track down the Quartermasters offices so she could report for duty.

She was still wearing the red-shirt from her last assignment but she had yet to change into the gold-shirt that she was now able to wear considering she was Operations track rather then command.

She arrived at her destination as she found herself looking at a Ferengi
male. "Howdy Chief." she greeted him. "What are you in for?"

Grek gave of a mischievous grin," Oh the usual, Admiral Nechayev seems to think I stole some of her Bajoran Springwine, and a bottle of Vulcan 2215 Sirok."

Jiao raised an eyebrow. "A bottle of Sirok... you serious?" she inquired. "I can't ever get my hands on that stuff and my contacts are usually pretty good."

Grek pulled the bottle ever so slightly out of his bag that he was carrying. the year was 2215.

Jiao regarded the bottle. "How did you get that?" she asked softly. "That stuff is highly expensive.. usually goes for a hundred bars of latinum."

Grek grinned," Well, the Admiral isn't exactly wrong."

Jiao regarded the Ferengi. "Admiral Nechayev, by any chance?" she inquired as a smile.

Grek nodded, she had it in her locker. "She doesn't drink, So I figured it needed to be in better hands."

Jiao smiled. "I won't argue with you." she responded. "You just reporting aboard?"

"Yep," Grek nodded.

"Same with me." Jiao commented. "You wanna meet the skipper.?"
she commented.

"Might as well."

Jiao turned as she led the way out the door and down the hall, a few minutes later the two arrived at their destination.

Jiao regarded the Ferengi before she tapped the doorchime.

Grek didn't say anything as Jiao hit the door chime.

"Open," Zara called from her desk as she drank on an iced tea.

The door opened as Jiao and Grek both walked into the Captains office.
"Sir.. we're two of your new supply officers." Jiao commented. "I'm Jiao Anderson."

Grek nodded saying, "and I am Chief Grek."

"The Admiral send you two?" Zara asked skeptically.

Jiao raised an eyebrow. "No... I was sent here because of a promotion... and I wanted to help clean this ship up." the Asian woman commented.

"You're the first volunteer I've run into for this assignment...." Zara frowned at that. "Either you're really crazy, or really eager. And I hope it's the latter."

Jiao slowly smiled. "You worry too much..." as smile graced the Asian woman's lips. "Torilla has accused me of worse..." her smile slowly widened.

"So how'd you end up here, Chief Grek?" Zara asked curiously.

Grek shrugged, "Admiral Nechayev seems to think I liberated some of her spring wine and a bottle of 2215 sirok."

"Why do I get the feeling a similar shipment is sitting in my cargobay," Zara winked at him.

Grek grinned and showed the bottle of 2215, just so slightly, saying, "Anything you need, I got the contacts to get them, even for stuff that the federation, frowns upon."

"Just don't trade anything we can get nailed for treason for," Zara cautioned. "Other than that, I won't question your methods."

Jiao slowly smiled. "Oh... I'll manage.." the Asian woman responded. "If you need anything.... we can get you anything..."

"I'd love about two-thousand targ steaks," Zara smiled brightly. "Would be nice to fix a big dinner before we leave port."

Grek looked at Jiao, then looked back at Zara, saying, "I think that can be arranged."

"Just let me know you have them," Zara snickered. "If I don't know how it was acquired, I can't lie if Shore Police come knocking."

Grek smiled, "A good quartermaster doesn't spill his secrets."

"You two are free to go then," Zara smiled. She was eager to see what those two scrounged up.

Jiao smiled as she along with Grek departed the Captain's ready room, heading to their office spaces. "So... how bad do you think our staff will be?"

Grek Shrugged, saying," Don't really care that much, as long as they aren't rats."

The two of them had their answer as they walked into their office, something sounded like it had exploded as one of the two people landed on the deck with a loud cry before bursting into tears as the second one pointed and started laughing. "HAHA..."

"fuck you," Crewman Recruit Jai Labrosse cried, as he threw a bottle of Emissary's vintage Bajoran Spring-wine at Crewman Munphuck. The bottle smashed into her face, giving her a busted nose and the bottle shattered as it landed on the floor.

"What the fuck are you doing!" the words slipped out from Jiao Anderson's lips before she'd even realize she'd said it right before she hauled off and punched him as she shoved him up against the wall before she kicked his knee, there was a loud wet snap as he dropped to the deck. "That... was irreplaceable." she growled before she drove the pointy end of her boot into his groin.

Then she grabbed his head before she rammed it with her knee three times, clearly enraged she wasn't going to stop until he stopped moving. "You took something from me.... now I'm gonna take something from you!" she cried as she kicked him in the head, soccer ball style.

Grek, stepped in rather quickly to keep Jiao from getting into trouble. Grabbing her arm firmly, he pulled her away, saying, "That's enough, this idiot isn't worth it."

Grek then looked at the whimpering crewman, saying," You, get lost, before I sell your meat to the Klingons so they can feed it to the targs."

Jai, despite his injuries quickly scurried out. Grek gave Munphuck a nasty look and she quickly retreated.

Jiao wanted to scream as she went over to where the remnants of the shattered bottle was lying along with that wine that had been splattered, she felt like she wanted to cry. "That was irreplaceable.." she muttered.
