Mission: Mission 16: Hoist the Colours
Location: Various Locations - USS Roanoke
Timeline: 0600Hrs - December 12th, 2390

Ensign Kam Raaboba was rightly crossed. He had just exited the showers and for the first time in forty eight hours had his uniform on. On his PADD he had personal information on some of the crew. He obtained it from a friend in Star Fleet command. He was looking for information to destroy his enemies. Sadly for him, there was nothing on the files too damning.

He pulled up Torilla's file. Just the sight of her angered him. "Never again!" he yelled to his empty quarters. "Never again, never again!" Kam pounded on the desk with his fist.

Then, his personal com beeped. He gathered himself before answering. Ensign Raaboba here." he said without emotion.

An image of a slightly overweight and balding man in an Admiral's uniform appeared. "Kam, are you there?" He asked.

"Oh, yes Admiral Houges. It is a pleasure to talk to you." Kam answered.

"Yes, I wish I could say the same." Houges replied. "I heard Berg was in medical isolation. Something about Norwalk Virus?" Houges asked.

"Um, yes Admiral. That is what medical reported." Kam answered. "I wanted to go see how he was but was told he cannot see anybody." Kam lied, he laughed when he heard Berg was in isolation.

"How in the hell did he catch that?" Houges asked. "Did he eat something exotic?"

"Berg wants to stay on flight status so he has really been watching what he puts in his body. I only wish I had his discipline, Admiral." Kam answered.

"We'll how did he catch that virus?" Houges asked.

Kam grimaced and looked away from Houges. "What? Do you need to tell me something Kam?" Houges asked concerned.

"Well Admiral, I took an oath to Star Fleet to respect my the officers appointed above me and not speak ill of them. It's just that..." Kam broke off. "No, it's too far fetched."

"Kam, I know this must be tough for a respectful young man such as yourself to report on your superiors but sometimes it is for the best. What happened son?" Houges asked.

Kam feigned struggling to talk. "I know this is going to sound over the top Admiral but this is what I heard." Kam told Houges. "The head of Medical, Commander Dvald, intentionally gave Berg Norwalk."

"What! Why in the name of hell would she want to do that for?" Houges asked, a little skeptical.

"Yes, Admiral. I found that hard to believe at first too." Kam nodded. "I have, however, heard rumors that Berg was ambushed by some of the crew including the acting Air Group Commander, Lasky. Berg was given the Norwalk virus to cover up the incident and he was put in isolation to keep Berg quiet."

"Why would this Lasky want to do that?" Houges asked. "And he isn't the Air Group Commander, a Lieutenant Colonel Sullivan is."

"Colonel Sullivan is on house arrest for assaulting a Cardassian officer. Lieutenant Commander Lasky is in charge. I think Commander Lasky was told to do it by the XO, Commander Yamaguchi." Kam told Houges.

"That sounds ridiculous Kam." Houges told him. "It doesn't even make sense. Where the hell is Captain Tane in all this?"

Kam shrugged. "I know it sounds a little out there Admiral. Captain Tane has a little bit of a drinking problem." Kam bit his lower lip. "She lets Commander Yamaguchi run the ship because she is too intoxicated."

A distressed look came over Houges face. "But why would this man want to harm Berg?" Houges asked.

"Commander Torilla Yamaguchi is a women." Kam answered. "I think she might be involved with a murder cover up." Kam wasn't really sure on this. He had heard that one of the pilots lost it and attacked Rachael Yamaguchi with a golf club. The pilot was last seen shot and beamed to sickbay.

Houges was in shock. "A murder! Who?"

"I think it was Captain Chymlier. He was a Marine pilot. Dvald helped cover up the murder." Kam told Houges. "Keep in mind Admiral, these are all rumors."

"Why would Lieutenant Commanders Lasky and Dvald be loyal to her?" Houges asked.

"I don't know Admiral." Kam replied. "They did seem to be rather familiar."

Houges continued to look over his PaDD. His raised his eyebrows. "It seems these people were assigned together on Star Base 400." Houges looked back up at Kam. Kam simply shrugged.

"Alright, I'm going to personally look into what the senior officers of this ship have been up to." Houges told Kam. "Your a credit to Star Fleet for bringing this to my attention Kam."

"I'm honored by your words Admiral." Kam replied. The image of Admiral Houges disappeared. Kam grinned ear to ear.
