| Physical Description | Rykar is an Arakor female, a feline/canine humanoid species. Like all Arakor her head is very feline, having a very short snout, prominent whiskers, and large, feline like ears. However she has non retractile claws, more canine feet, and fairly thick fur. Her tail is average length for her species and quite fluffy. Like most Arakor, Rykar does not like clothing, particularly with her thick fur, makes clothing very uncomfortable. |

Personality & Traits
| General Overview | Rykar has a fairly typical attitude for an Arakor. Like most Arakor, Rykar places high value in honor and honesty. Though her loyalty is very difficult to gain, once earned she is an extremely loyal person. Rykar is not afraid to speak her mind, and she has little sense of tact, coupled with the fact that her respect and loyalty is difficult to gain, she has rubbed a number of people the wrong way. While she does not go out of her way to get into fights, nor is she overly quick to anger, once provoked, she does not easily stop. However unlike many Arakor, she is a little quicker to question the actions of her superiors, though this is mainly because she never got fully used to the federations way of doing things. | Strengths & Weaknesses | Strengths - Has a high sense of honor and is very honest. She is very organized and is good at keeping things in order. Is very strong and is a very good fighter. Weaknesses Stubborn. Does not easily trust people. Her brutal honesty and lack of tact causes her a lot of trouble in the past. She has a tenancy to be somewhat rigid in her thinking. She is very slow to forgive, and is difficult to stop when enraged. Sometimes doesn't show a good tolerance for other people's cultures. Has self confidence issues and doesn't open up to people easily, and though she doesn't admit it, she is terrified of showing weakness. |
| Personal History | Rykar and her family, as well as a number of other Arakor, had left the Arakor empire and immigrated to the federation, mainly in search of a better life, given the economic depression faced by their government at the same time. At the time Rykar was very young, about 7 years old, so her memories of the Arakor Empire are not strong. Raised on the federation planet Anaxar, she joined starfleet at the age of 21. Due to her status, Rykar was unable to enter as an officer, or go to an academy, so she enlisted first. She decided to stay enlisted for some time, Making it all the way to Chief Petty officer before going officer. he Attended OCS, and due to having a chief's rank, qualified for skipping the Rank of Ensign and going to Lieutenant Junior grade. Since she has served mostly in operations assignments, making good progress and having a fairly clean record, aside from a few fights and disciplinary actions early in her career, until her encounter with Nechayev. Nechayev referred to her as an unruly wild animal and had Rykar demoted back to Lieutenant commander and sent to Roanoke. |

| Service Record | Rykar had ended up on the roanoke due to her getting into an argument with Admiral Nechayev. Rykar had been rather expressive in her opinion about the maqui and the cardassian federation peace treaty prior to the dominion war. Rykar had been talking to another officer about the issue when Nechayev was in earshot. Nechayev felt the need to correct Rykar on the issue, and the argument quickly degenerated to insults where Rykar called Nechayev," A traitorous, careerist pig whom would sell out her own family to further her own career." Rykar viewed Nechayev as a traitor whom sold out federation citizens to further herself. At the Time Rykar was just promoted to commander and Nechayev had her demoted for insubordination and had her sent to the Roanoke.
