| Personal History | Douglas had a tough time adjusting to life at the academy after growing up on hat some considered to be a backward frontier world. However, after an initial bout of culture shock, his anger gave way to a quiet confidence as he trained at the academy, before long he was seen as a leader among his peers and he would quickly earn a command of his own, but he surprised everyone when he decided to go into the operations field full time rather than command, he also took the usual command classes and he even went to command school when it was offered to him. |
