| Personal History | Heather Wolf was born in 2359, she was a rather unusual product of a union between a Vulcan female and a human male, she was the youngest of five siblings and they all tended to shelter her and look after Heather while she was growing up, she was also in trouble at school as she didn't seem to really know her own strength after one fight in which a couple of other girls teased her about her pointed ears. Heather learned early that she was much more powerful than many of the older girls as she could not let them goad her into fights which half the time she seemed to enjoy. Her parents decided to enroll her ins several martial arts classes, hoping to teach her some discipline and one could argue that after a few years, they succeeded but what really sorted Heather out, was the Dominion War as the wounded began to arrive back at her home on Starbase Sixteen, she began helping out with the wounded. Running errands and fetching things in the Starbase infirmary but also sitting around, listening and trying to help those wounded in their minds, the base Chief medical and Chief Counselor realized that Heather actually had a gift to help others, she was never using it before and both said they would sponsor her for Starfleet Academy. In 2377, Heather enrolled at Starfleet Academy and for the next four years, she pushed herself to be the best she could become, even taking extra classes, gaining extra credit when she wanted it, she graduated in the end with honors and was assigned to the first ship on the list, the USS Phoenix, an older Nebula Class ship with one hell of a war record. After serving a few years here, she was posted tot he USS Song of the East under the command of Commodore then Rear Admiral Jake Yamaguchi, it was here where she got noticed and made a name for herself as a skilled and compassionate therapist, she was also a skilled medical officer as well, as she could help in sickbay when needed. Jake liked this and so did Neban Hular, so when Neban got his own command, he requested that Heather Wolf go with him as his new Chief of Counseling, Jake did not stand in his way, as he had endorsed Neban's recommendation and added to it with his own, Today, Heather Wolf serves on the USS Avalon, she is presently enjoying this assignment greatly. However she was offered a new assignment as CHief of Counseling onboard the USS Oathsworn, she accepted before packing her bags and departing the USS Avalon. |
