Personal History Born in 2360, Piotr Ulyanov is an interesting case study in human contradictions as he grew up as a normal child for the first six years of his life, but then his homeworld suffered what could only be called a massive cataclysm of truly frightening proportions.

At age six, Ulyanov was evacuated from his homeworld mere minutes ahead of its destruction. Someone crashed an antimatter tanker into the planets port facilities, this generated a truly massive explosion which caused a massive shock-pulse that rippled around the planet, Ulyanov and several thousand others were rescued by the USS Challenger, NCC-71099.

The explosion which resulted in Jericho VII turning from a rather idyllic planet into a frozen hell. Ulyanov was orphaned in the attack, losing everything and everyone he had ever known in a matter of moments. As a result, Ulyanov became a ward of the state and was raised surrounded by other children who had suffered the same loss. As they grew older, many of these youths eventually enlisted in Starfleet's Marines, eager for a chance at repay the Federation for raising them. Ulyanov, however, still blamed the government for failing to defend his homeworld. Arriving at the conclusion that the Federation was incapable of protecting anyone else, he struck out on his own and became a freelancer, selecting and hunting targets of his own volition.

While his actions were unconventional and motives born of dissent, they eventually caught the eye of Starfleet Security. With some very specific roles in mind for the rough but talented youth, Starfleet Security approached Ulyanov with an offer: "come home and let us train you to be even better." Finally sensing an opportunity to find greater purpose, Ulyanov found the strength to let go of his resentment, and entered an extensive training program. Given the chance to hone his skills to perfection, Ulyanov has become one of Starfleet Security's top field agents.

A top agent for Starfleet Security, Piotr Ulyanov serves as an Intel Acquisitions Specialist, retrieving important objects held by the enemy, as well as tracking and eliminating high-value targets. Intelligent and outgoing, Ulyanov is quick to solve a range of complicated situations as much with his brain as with his combat skills.

When he joined Starfleet, he had issues conforming to rules and regulations as he was just evil in many of his classes, giving many instructors a run for their money in hand to hand classes. However he learned a great deal, track and field, running, computer operations as he had already been out in the field for almost five years by this point.

One of the other cadets, an upperclassman thought it would be funny to haze him in front of a crowd, so that night Ulyanov taught this man not to fuck with him as he broke into his room, disabling a dozen alarms in the process. With a red marker in hand, he drew a red mark across his neck with the note next to his bedside "Next time. It'll be for real, Don't fuck with me." Needless to say the cadet got the hint. Ulyanov was reported for unethical behavior and this only furthered his reputation as a demon in human skin.

Upon graduation, he was assigned to assist Starfleet Security with a variety of assignments that took him across a dozen locations, each assignment had him recovering Federation or Starfleet technology that others had stolen as well as two assassination assignments, Ulyanov greatly relished these assignments before he tired of the solitary game, choosing instead to serve some time on Starships, the first pick was the USS Alexander the Great which Captain T'Rae wanted someone highly experienced in the role so Ulyanov was sent to her.

Captain T'Rae expected someone who was all spit and polish so she was happily surprised when she met Ulyanov the first time, citing he was perfect as he thought outside the box, his track record spoke for itself and he was recruited for her command. She has come to rely heavily upon Ulyanov to make her command work.

When the Alexander the Great went in for reassignment to a new Captain and crew because she was re-designated as a Light Cruiser rather then a Heavy Cruiser thanks to the military reorganization act. He and the rest of the crew were reassigned to the Guardian Class. USS Shield of Wolves.
