Personal History		Catrin Jones was the name she was given when she was born, in 2346 on Alpha Centauri IV. She grew up as a much loved and very happy child but she found she was drawn to the medical fields as she was often found helping out with wounded kids in school. Catrin knew what to say and how to heal almost as if it were a gift and not something one could learn or be taught. When she came of age, she ignored Starfleet completely and she went into the medical field, first spending several years in the local University, earning herself three degrees, one was in Bachelor of Public Safety: Administration Degree while the other two were masters degrees, one in general studies and the other was in child care. Catrin found she preferred to be a generalist rather then a specialist and her career seemed set while working at New Leningrad General until one fateful evening in 2365 when she had a chance meeting with Captain Jeffery Sinclair and the man who would later become her boyfriend then later husband. Jeff inquired if she was happy, she said that she was and he offered her something else, a way to help more people so he offered her a sponsorship to the academy medical program and she was instantly intrigued with the offer, he also said she could enlist and keep working here. Catrin accepted his offer and off she went to enlist, she applied and was accepted into the Starfleet ROTC program located in Northern New Leningrad and she was here for nine weeks doing field studies and the usual military programs. like running, jumping and the usual cardio exercises, also she learned how to use various weapons as well as some close quarters combat drills. Catrin was not a star at basic but she was more then capable as she probed time and again. Once she was finished with her coursework she was assigned to her first ship of the line. The USS Warrior which was an older Excelsior class ship. Catrin remained in contact with Jeff Sinclair and Karl Reyes while all of this was going on and Catin suddenly found herself with an offer to come serve on the US Century as one of their medical enlisted personnel. As she was already a fully licensed doctor she found herself being assigned as a nurse practitioner. She and Karl Reyes began dating in earnest as soon as she got to the USS Century and a year later they were married, their eldest arrived after this as Catrin followed her husband from assignment, she fought the Dominion War, the Second Klingon War and the Second Borg attack by his side as she developed a serious hatred of the enemies of the Federation. After the end of the Dominion War, Catrin decided she wanted more children in addition to Heather so she followed her husband from assignment to assignment, being quite happy to work in sickbay as a senior enlisted, eventually she was offered the posting of Chief Medical Officer by the Exec of the USS Trafalgar and to everyone's surprise she accepted but she refused the commission that went with it as she herself said 'I'm not leadership material, I'll hold the post until someone else comes along'. Catrin is indeed a good leader, she just doesn't see it and to this day, she remained aboard the Trafalgar, being content and happy in this posting. Late in 2391. Catrin Reyes was reassigned from the command of the USS Trafalgar and she was reassigned over to the USS Deutschland, a newly constructed Excalibur class starship. She was assigned as Chief Nurse rather then Chief Medical Officer as she didn't have or wish to have a comission.
