General Overview		James Wilkerson is a therapist first and foremost, he doesn't like to fight but he will if provoked. He is generally laid back and peaceful which is a surprise considering his how childhood went.
Strengths & Weaknesses		Strengths: He's peaceful and he tends to be rather laid back and easy to get along with until he's provoked. Weaknesses: He has some issues with time management but he's working on it. He also has an anger management problem, assigning him to look after abuse cases can be intresting

Personal History		James Wilkerson was born on Earth in 2365, to Martin Wilkerson and his wife Alison. She honest would have been better off nothing having kids as she was somewhat on the unhinged side of things considering she had been a victim of child abuse herself. Alison was not able to handle the abuse she went through as a child but she did her best with what she had to work with. Ultimately however she failed dismally. She turned her rage against her two sons and against her husband. Martin grew concerned but after a year or so, he realized things were only getting worse and not any better so he decided to have her dealt with. Martin contacted Social Services on the matter and they began prying into her, her past and they discovered various details. On their first visit to the Wilkerson household, they discovered various alarming problems as they told the parents to get things sorted out otherwise the children would be taken into care. This only exacerbated Alison's already existing issues and it all came to a head before their second visit when she snapped, murdering her husband and she tried to murder her children but they both escaped to a neighbors house. The police were called in and things were sorted out, however it was too late as both boys went off to live with their paternal aunt, his fathers younger sister who didn't have children of her her own. Janet Wilkerson did the best she could but she had inherited two badly damaged children but she helped them, overcome what happened to them. When both boys graduated the school system one of them enlisted and went into Starfleet security while the other went into the medical field as a counselor, to help others the way Janet helped him. James Wilkerson found out who and what he was while at the academy as he no longer needed to be afraid of what happened to his brother and himself while they were children, he was able to come to grips with his demons thanks to the aid from several therapists while he was at the academy. His first assignment after graduation was to the USS Inverness, an older Akira class ship and this was an assignment he greatly enjoyed as it helped him to continue to come to terms with his evil demons. He was here for several years ans he showcased that he could handle a great deal and he became the ships chief Counselor after proving he could do the job. His second assignment was after an offer came to him to become the Chief Counselor on the USS Tranquility, the third of the Artemis class ships now entering service. Encouraged by the opportunity, he accepted and so off he went.
