| Personal History | James MacPherson was born on Vega in 2366. He grew up the only child of Darren and Helen MacPherson and while he was a happy child, he was also a lonely one too. He didn't lack for friends or things to do while growing up on Vega. When he was in High school, he met a young woman named Talin Sorokin and the two began dating as young teenagers, their relationship was quiet and quite subtle, as many of their friends were dating fast and their relationships died young, these two endured. They graduated school and both went to the academy at the same time she became pregnant, they got married midway through their first year at the academy. He applied himself to basic medicine as he didn't want to become a Doctor, more rather he wanted the hands on feeling of helping in a hospital so he opted to become a nurse instead. Word came back later that his test scores didn't give him the chance to become a doctor so he made the best of what he had. He often used his wife to assist him with medical coursework but she and their children when they came didn't mind, buy the time he graduated, they were assigned to separate postings, she went off to a Starbase while he was assigned to the USS Francis Drake, an Akira class ship. While they were reunited on leaves, their relationship went from strength to strength and along came another two children to the four they already had. In late 2391, he was offered the chance to put his skills to good use as the new Chief nurse for the USS Tranquility, the third ship of her kind and he accepted so he packed his bags and off he went. |
