| Personal History | Vilotanzia 'Violet' Bounlutay was born in 2351, on Pangea, an independent human colony world in the Federation which has three times the gravity that earth does, so when it rains, it REALLY Rains. The planet was attacked by the Dominion War but the planet repelled the attack and made the Dominion sorry they ever bothered to attack, thanks to the defenses set up by Raisa Shostakova who became something of a hometown hero. While all of this was going on. Vilotanzia or Violet as she came to be known as it was a lot easier for her colleagues and comrades to say, was off at Starbase Nineteen and midway through the war she transferred over to the USS Valdemar. Violet spent the rest of the war here on this assignment, it was here where she met Chief Petty Officer Julian Antilles who was assigned to Starfleet Special Forces. Their relationship was short as neither was expecting to live out the war but she was shocked when she found out she was pregnant weeks later. Her son, a boy she and Julian both named Nathan was born four months into 2376, towards the end of the war and it was here where she raised him as her own, she remained assigned to the Valdemar before getting her long overdue promotion in mid 2376. In 2378, she needed a change so she stuck in for reassignment, she was posted to the USS First Minister and here she remained for a further three years, her relationship with Julian Antilles was a gentle and fragile thing as having his son dammn near broke her, she needed to be looked at by doctors and nurses on an almost constant basis. She remained on the First Minister for another three years before she was transferred to the USS Challenger, the second of the new Chariot class starships, just entering service. Her service here was long and hard as she had to deal with people who seemed to hate her for no reason, she found herself detesting this assignment and while she tried to stuck it out, she in the end stuck in for reassignment and found herself going to the sister ship, the USS Cheron. This assignment was better for her and her young son, simply because her husband came to join her on this posting, he transferred from SOCOM to Tactical which permitted him to be with his wife and young son. The two served and worked together through their various assignments until they were both posted to the USS Toronto in early 2388 since then both of them have been happy serving with this eclectic and unusual crew. In early 2391, Bounlutay and the entire crew of the USS Toronto were reassigned to the USS Rawalpindi, in the same postings they had on the Toronto. It was because the Luna class was now longer a Heavy Cruiser, she was now a Destroyer and the personnel assigned were now overranked for the posting. In early 2394. Vilotanzia was reassigned to Starbase Vanguard to head up their medical research division. She was eminently qualified but it was also partly because she was pregnant. Something she had been wanting for years and now she would be working with her husband nearby. |
