General Overview		Elena Aries tends to keep to herself, she is shy around new people and doesn't get along with many, when in public she prefers to keep company with a select few or her wife.
Strengths & Weaknesses		Strengths: Elena is a dedicated pilot and she is extremely confident that she can fly anything at any time. Her marriage to a human woman is also a source of great strength for her. Weaknesses: She has a confidence problem. It gnaws away at her all of the time as she doesn't think she's ever going to be good enough.

Personal History		Elena Aries was born in 2359. on the Trill Homeworld. She was born into a family that didn't like starfleet or want anything to do with the Federation, they saw Starfleet as a military organization that applied ruthless force on people and various nation state across the galaxy. As Elena grew up with her brother. She quickly relied that her parents views on life and Starfleet were hopelessly naive and foolish, later she saw it for what it was. She grew up and was expected to join the Trill Symbiosis Commission as a Doctor to carry on the family tradition but she discovered her skills were in flying instead. When her parents found out about two years later when she was age sixteen they attempted to sabotage her efforts and while they damn near succeeded, her brother had her back and told her that she could enlist in Starfleet at age seventeen, providing the pass various checks and the like so she began looking into the matter. When she hit age seventeen, her father forbade her to leave so she packed one bag while the family was on vacation on Earth, she enlisted and she never looked back. She went through basic training and then warrant school and then flight training, all of which took her about two years to complete. Once that was all completed she requested assignment to the USS Shinobi where she showcased her skills for all to see, earning herself several commendations but in 2382 she was transferred across to the USS Inverness Here. Elena was reunited with her friend, Kira Iresong who'm she met several years earlier, the two simply picked up from where they left off and within six months the two were dating and a year later they were married. The two of them remained together as Elena went up the rank ladder while being assigned to various locations. In 2386, Elena was reassigned to Starbase Fourteen so she got to spread her wings to to speak in terms of her assignments, she began taking on more security assignments in addition to her security assignments. In Mid 2391, Elena was approached about being the new Chief of Conn for the USS Comet and the Trill accepted, especially after she found out her wife was coming along with her. The two of them reported aboard the USS Comet a week later and at present are settling into their new assignment together.
