Personal History		Yulaan Neris was born in early 2358 on her species homeworld of Delta Four. She grew up with her parents and siblings as she was not really interested in serving in Starfleet and co-existing with lesser beings who would become infatuated with her. When Neris finished her schooling, she instead went to Univesity as she wished to further her education and understand the universe better at the same time. It was around the same time that she met a Starfleet officer named Lieutenant Keyan Fardreamer, she was unsure of him and he was sure of himself, his skills and his abilities. Yulaan quickly realized that there were some who could resist Deltan pheromones and so she took something of a liking to the human. She wanted to get to know him so she decided to be upfront about it rather than be subtle. Fardreamer didn't react in the manner that she had expected, he kept his composure and enjoyed his time in the lounge before the two parted company. This only increased Neris's interest and so she decided to join Starfleet as a warrant as she realized that her assumptions on humans and other species were all based on a faulty premise, that her species was superior and now she was finding out that her beliefs were incorrect. Neris had decided to be gentle in getting to know Fardreamer but he was clearly interested in her too so the two end up in a relationship together. The two would end up working and living together on the newly commissioned Starbase Vanguard before getting married six months later.
