| Personal History | Born 2350 on the Reach colony in the city of New Alexandra, he lived his childhood and his teen years like any other child except he had a fascination with Starfighters almost from the moment he saw a squadron of them when he was a young child. When he graduated school, he went off to the academy as a pilot, his lifelong dream, tensions between the Federation, its allies, and their enemies were starting to rise as the Romulans had returned, then there was the Borg attack a year previously and things with the Klingons were not going well thanks to Gowron being an all-around jackass. Leslie graduated and was assigned to the USS Inverness, he was one of six pilots assigned at the time and was assigned the callsign of 'Fireball' simply because he screwed up and firewalled the engine when he should have shut it down. Isaacs began to amass an almost incredible amount of experience in various starfighters over the years, including against just about every enemy the Federation processed, from the second Borg attack at Earth to the Dominion War in fights like Operation Return and the battle of Coridan. Fireball was there when Jake Yamaguchi got command of the Courageous at the battle of Coridan, he also helped to keep the Jem'Hadar away from the ship while her crew fought to save her. Jorge remained aboard the USS Courageous for another six years replacing Jake as Second Squadron Commander and then replacing Fives as the Wing Commander. He survived the entire war, first shot to last in the cockpit of his various starfighters that he flew but in 2380, he was offered the chance to go train for Starfighter Corps Search and Rescue, it was an irresistible chance for him to prove his worth. Isaacs was here for the full course load which was about twelve months, he did well and graduated near the top of his class but rather than get sent out into the field again, he was offered the chance to teach at TOP GUN. It was here where he met a woman named Nicole Vollen, the two of them hit it off quite well and the two became good friends considering she was a married woman. After eight years in the one assignment, he decided he wanted to go back out and was posted to the USS Perception as commander of their second squadron. Here he ended up in a relationship by accident with Odessa Martell, a marine sniper and now the two are cohabitating, some nights they spent at his place and others they spend at her place but they are taking things slowly. |
