| Personal History | Paige Matheson was born in 2353 on Earth, she's from Southern Tennessee to be more specific, born on her family's ranch to an old school family who raised horses, this was a lifestyle that would greatly influence her outlook on life and everything in life. Her older sibling was a child named Cara and she and Paige had issues from a young age, both saw the other as conceited and snobbish. Paige was more honest however and so when Paige graduated high school, she went off into Starfleet rather than remain at home with her eldest sibling, her youngest sibling followed Paige into Starfleet three years later. Paige specialized in Operations studies. As time went by she developed into something of a computer nerd and so she was assigned to the USS Valley Forge after she graduated from the academy with honours. What Paige didn't know as she was bring thrown into the thick of the fighting in the Dominion War was that she would meet the man who would become her husband and be the father of many of her children. The USS Helios would bring both pain and pleasure in various ways. It was a chance encounter with the eldest son which at that time was her only son of Rear Admiral Julia Antilles-Yeager who was reconnecting with his mother. He was on leave visiting his mother and he met Paige Matheson. The two hit it off very quickly and some could say it was too quickly as they developed their relationship at almost the speed of light. What bonded them together was the pregnancy Paige had with their first child. A little girl both would name Elizabeth, she was both on the eve of the end of the war with the Dominion and the Helios came through the battles of Getha and Cardassia almost unscathed. Her assignment to the USS Valley Forge was rather simple as she was assigned to help rebuild the computer system aboard this old ship almost from scratch. She did the job alongside three others in half the time they were expecting her to do it, and thanks to her hard would she was reassigned to the USS Ark Royal which at that time was a brand new ship of the line that was commissioned into the Federation fleet when she was assigned to her as Chief Operations Officer. This assignment came with a promotion and thus, better living accommodations for her and her children. Later that year. Paige was reunited with her husband, their celebrations ended with her becoming pregnant with child number three and child number four. Both Keyan and Paige settled in to have their family together. He was offered a promotion but he refused. in 2387 Paige was offered the chance to take over as Executive Officer of this ship, she accepted as Keyan had always encouraged her to further her career and her family. She had worked for it and she had earned it. In early 2392, Paige and her crew were reassigned from the USS Ark Royal to the USS Asgard as the Ark Royal is too old for further service in her present form. |
