| Personal History | Lu'Pal was born in 2329 on Vulcan, the only child of two well established Scientist. At the age of sixteen, Lu'Pal attended the Vulcan Science Academy. After graduating, she decided to leave Vulcan and attend the Starfleet Academy to become an officer. Her first assignment was on the USS Henrick, an Miranda class starship which spent much its time on exploration missions. Lu'Pal received a promotion to Lieutenant Junior Grade . on the Henrick, but in 2357, she received a promotion to Lt Commander and transferred to Chief Science Officer on Deep Space Five. On DS5, Lu'Pal enjoyed being so close to the Romulan neutral zone, which gave the science department the opportunity to make several new discoveries. In 2364, Lu'Pal was offered the position of Executive Officer on the USS Washington, an older Excelsior class which she gladly accepted. Lu'Pal excelled in this position and in 2369 was offered Commanding Officer when her Captain received a promotion to Commodore. Captain Lu'Pal enjoyed her command, as much as a Vulcan could enjoy anything really, finding herself running the gamut of missions ranging from exploration to armed convoy escort. Over the first few years of her command she found herself in the Dominion War. The Washington survived many battles against the Dominion, until that fateful day when the ship was destroyed by the orbital defense platforms over the twin worlds of Chin'Toka Two and Three. Those who escaped were sent to Starbase 375 for reassignment. Lu'Pal was reassigned to command the USS Bill of Rights for the remainder of the war, she was involved in some of the most brutal fighting of the war but she led her people and ships well, also she won several major victories by saving more lives and getting away with it when others would turn and run. After the war Captain Lu'Pal was asked to teach at the Academy as a Science Instructor. Judging by her expertise in numerous subjects when it came to sciences it seemed like the most logical thing to do so she accepted. Also because of her significant combat experience she was also promoted to Commodore. In 2380, Lu'Pal requested to go back out into space so she was assigned command of the USS Warlock and promoted to Rear Admiral, also she picked up Executive Officer for the Eleventh Fleet at the same time. In 2383, she was requested to take over as commanding officer of the Eleventh Fleet when her CO dropped her retirement papers so Lu'Pal was promoted to Vice Admiral and began working her way up the ladder towards senor fleet command, over the next several years she would go from Commander Eleventh Fleet to Commander Sixteenth Fleet and then in early 2391, she was tapped to become the new Head of Starfleet Operations. Seeing as how she was mostly doing the job on a fleet level, she accepted and packed her bags before returning to Earth. In 2393. Lu'Pal decided that her Starfleet career wasn't heading anywhere so she decided to drop her resignation and go back to being a Federation Ambassador again. On December 1st of 2393. Her resignation took effect and she vacated her Starfleet offices for the last time as she decided she would return to Vulcan for a time to meditate on matters before she would go back out and serve as an Ambassador. |
