| Personal History | Greg Turner was born the second of three children on Alpha Centauri in 2343, he grew up to love life on this little corner of Federation space as the world was nothing but beaches and tropical woodlands almost from pole to pole, the seas were shallow and warm but there was plenty of other issues to go with this jewel of the Federation. Greg Turner was nearly killed while helping to evacuate a small village while a Volcano was erupting, this helped his secondary interests which flourished very quickly as a result of this event. When he came of age, he went off to the academy in 2361 and graduated in 2365, his first assignment was to the USS Constant, only moving along when the Constant was destroyed at Wolf 359 as part of the Fleet that had gathered there. His next posting was the USS Nagato, an older Ambassador Class ship what had been newly refitted with extra weapons and shields, a lesson of the battle in the Wolf system, he remained assigned here for several more years before the Second Borg attack forced him to transfer over to the USS Mas Ramdar which was an older Excelsior Class ship. He fought the Dominion War until the Mas Ramdar was destroyed during the battle to liberate Deep Space Nine during Operation Return, his next assignment was the newly commissioned Mes Ramdar, a new Sovereign class ship where he finished the Dominion War and helped with some of the rebuildings. His first command was the Mes Ramdar before he was offered command of a Starbase and here he remained for several more years before his skills in tactical was noticed, he was seen as a rising star in Starfleet Tactical thanks to his skills in weapons and tactics. His next posting as Exec of Starfleet Tactical where he remained for four years, living in San Francisco, a city he hated so he relocated to Juneau, Alaska which while it was in the same time zone on Earth, the countryside was much nicer and it was here where he made his home. in Early 2390, he was appointed to the head of Starfleet Tactical, it was a posting he would enjoy with relish, alongside his third wife who seemed more stable. His first wife was deranged, she left him Leon before she walked out of his life while the second wife got killed on assignment, his third wife was much more stable even if Miranda Sinn could be declared insane. |
