His short hair is cut in the flat top style characteristic of marines. He sports two tattoos. On his right arm is a tattoo of a pair of phaser rifles accompanied by the inscription "MOLON LABE". Which in Greek means "come and take them" On his upper back is a tattoo of the Federation seal accompanied by the inscription "Death Before Dishonor". He has an energy weapon scar on his left shoulder. |

| General Overview | Thomas Jonathan Jackson is a professional warrior. He knows what hardship is. Death has become a too familiar acquaintance during the course of his career. He maintains a working relationship with death. He also has a natural knack to lead others, which was the main reason he went from the enlisted ranks, to the commissioned officer ranks during the Dominion War. He is not overbearing though, and knows how to interact with others well. He is tenacious, but also knows how to pick his battles. Thomas is fiercely loyal to the Federation with one exception. He has a higher loyalty to his home world of Alpha Centauri. While the relationship between the UFP and the member world of Alpha Centauri has always been cordial, the expansion of the central authority of the Federation Council has caused a strain between it, and many of the member worlds. The Articles of Federation were very specific regarding how much of a say it had over the internal affairs of each member world. Lately, the Federation Council has been stretching those limits. The bottom line for Thomas Jackson is this: So long as Alpha Centauri adheres to the United Federation of Planets, so his loyalty lies. IF Alpha Centauri should choose not to adhere to the Federation, his loyalty would lie with Alpha Centauri. This is his concept of patriotism. |

| Personal History | Thomas Jonathan Jackson was born on September 11, 2356. His place of birth, and upbringing was in Athens, Alpha Centauri. His father Jonathan Jackson, is a Senator in Alpha Centauri's Senate. His mother, Candace Jackson, is a school teacher. His Cousin is the Governor of Alpha Centauri, retired Admiral Phelan Ward. The rest of his immediate family consists of two younger brothers, and one younger sister. He had a good childhood. His childhood activities included equestrian, fencing, , Filipino Martial Arts, and competition shooting. Upon completion of his secondary education at age 17, with honors.His father let him delay his entry into higher education so that he would be able to determine what career track he wanted to put his life in. A couple of weeks after graduation, he decided to enlist into the Federation Marines. He is a combat veteran of the Dominion Wars. In 2373. Jackson Enlisted into the Federation Marine Corps and over the course of his time there, he completed Marine Recruit Training/Marine Infantry Course while qualifying as an expert on all Marine small arms. He graduated and was assigned to the USS Sentinel, an Akira class ship with the rank of Private. His posting was as a Grenadier in the 2/14th Marines The Dominion War began and he was present for several of the Major battles, Tyra was one such example. Jackson was one of only 220 marines who survived out of the whole battalion. They escaped on the 14 remaining Star Fleet ships to make it back to Federation lines. After reaching Federation held space, Jackson was reassigned to the 1/327th Marines, he also was assigned as a Team Leader. Promoted to the rank of private first class. He would fight in many of the major battles including the battle of the Benzar System. Here Jackson participated in multiple ground engagements on the Bolian Home-world. But being wounded In action, he was sent to the Starfleet medical facility on Betazed. Alas he was also present for the battle and the fall of Betazed to the Dominion, he was initially listed as missing in action but he managed to avoid capture by invading Jem'Hadar forces while linking up with a resistance group. Two weeks later he assumed command of group after the death of it's leader. H then lead numerous raids against Jem'Hadar, and Breen troops, and facilities. He and a team abducted a Breen general, and arranged the prisoner's successful retrieval by FORECON, however also he was recovered at the same time and he passed on command to another. Jackson was field commissioned to the rank of Second Lieutenant and assigned as Platoon Commander, 2nd Platoon, Alpha Company, 1/327th Marines. Just in time for the first battle of Chin'toka Jackson led his platoon in successful battle to take Chin'toka III from the Dominion. Also he participated in numerous ground engagements throughout the system, including several on Chin'toka III, and a defensive battle on AR558 over the course of the next several months, while all of this was going on, he was assigned as Company Commander of Alpha Company, 1/327th Marines and promoted to the rank of First Lieutenant. When the Breen came into the war and the Dominion attacked the Chin'Toka system in force, Jackson and his troops were withdrawn in the Second Battle Of Chin'toka but the war wasn't over and neither was he. When the time to invade Cardassia came, he and his troops were on the front lines of said attack as he led his company in a combat jump during the Battle Of Cardassia Prime. After the main battle was concluded and the war ended, he also participated in mop up operations across Cardassia Prime. He was planet-side for two months before taking a year long break from Starfleet and he returned home to Alpha Centauri III His next posting was Star Fleet Academy, San Francisco on Earth as an student for several years. completing a Degree in Interstellar Relations as well as completing the Marine Officers Infantry Course and in 2378 he was offered the chance to go to FORECON School. He graduated a year later in 2380. After all of this was completed. He was promoted to Captain. In 2381. Jackson was assigned as Company Commander, C Company, 3/32 FORECON and he participated in an intelligence gathering mission within the Krazzle Empire. In 2382. Jackson and his troops fought a ground engagement against the Gorn during a Gorn incursion in the Cestus System. In 2383. Jackson finished his qualifications as a Tier 1 Operator. One that was finished, he led a boarding party to take a Borg Sphere. Took the Sphere after intense fighting. In 2384. He was assigned as Battalion S3, 3/327th Marines, also he was promoted to Major, he was attached to Starbase 324 In 2386. Jackson was assigned Company Commander, A 3/327th Marines. Attached to USS Sentinel. He remained here for a few years. In 2389, He took some more education, this time at the Federation War College, Fort Archer - Mars, SOL. He completed the Completed Field Command Course. In 2390. Jackson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and assigned as Executive Officer, First Marine Battalion attached to Starbase 400. Also Assigned Commanding Officer of the 1st FORECON Group. His assignment did not last long as due to an off duty injury of 1st Battalion's Commanding Officer, reassigned to command the First Marine Battalion. Also the FORECON given new designation. 1st FORECON Group re-designated 1st MARSOC Group. In late 2391. Jackson was asked to assume command of the Special Forces troops aboard the USS Argonne as well as the command of the second battalion assigned aboard, he accepted and was transferred to her. |
