Ambitions To serve the Federation to the best of his ability until he retires or dies, whichever comes first
Hobbies & Interests This is a guy who is a very old man, he finds peace and quiet in sitting around and generally doing nothing, sitting on a sofa and relaxing.

Personal History Pasha Andreyev was born in 2302 as the eldest of three children, he called Vladivostok, in eastern Russia on Earth as home. While he grew up he called Earth home and he never had any intentions of abandoning the family business which was farming.

Up at dawn with a glass of water and a sandwich then it was off to school for Pasha, as the years went by he had his horizon's broadened by contact with other people and it was a Starfleet Officer who came to his school to explain what it meant to be in starfleet and what it was about, the woman was also very blunt about it that it could be a hard life and one with great reward too.

Pasha was curious so he asked a great many questions as the recruiter could see she hooked a rather large fish but had she known then what Pasha himself would come to learn fifty years later, would she have done anything different?.

But that was a subject for another time and place. Pasha meanwhile had his imagination fired up and was raring to go, so he began looking into the matter about Starfleet and the Federation when he began to realize that his parents lifestyle was hopelessly shortsighted.

Pasha kept his interest in Starfleet quiet and two years later he graduated school before sending off his application to join Starfleet, it was accepted and off he went, after bidding his parents and family goodbye. His mother approved of it but his father did not, he said that Pasha should follow the family business and leave the business of being explorers to those with no moral fiber. However things between father and son deteriorated to the point where father and son refused to speak, it would be thirty years before this deep freeze began to thaw.

Pasha settled in at Starfleet Academy and while he did well here, he showcased that he was meant to be an Engineer rather then an Operations officer. He embraced the world of the Engineer and he continued his work here even after he graduated, his first assignment was to the USS Hué City, one of the new Excelsior Class ships entering service en mass.

He served on the USS Hué City for five years, learning a great deal and helping to keep this ship at the pinnacle of Engineering, he assisted with several missions into the howling dark and lived to speak of it where several others didn't.

His next few assignments were all noteworthy as he got to showcase his skills time and time again, saving his ship several times and saving a colony during another incident, ultimately he was promoted and offered the posting of Executive Officer on the USS port Royal and then he was promoted to Captain and offered the command of the USS Cowpens.

The USS Cowpens was not what he wanted in a command, he wanted a Heavy Cruiser or a battleship and instead he was commanding a light Cruiser. The Mediterranean class was a lighter, smaller and cheaper version of the more massive Ambassador class starships now entering service.

When the USS Cowpens went in for a two year refit to modernize her warp engines, he was given the option to remain with her or be reassigned to another ship, he decided to toss in the towel and accept reassignment, after a couple of weeks, he found out he was being sent to the USS Philippine Sea, a new Ambassador Class starship just entering service and so he decided to keep her as long as he could.

Starfleet was issuing new uniforms around this time and Pasha decided felt under dressed for the job he was doing, it was also around this time that he met his future wife. Zhanna Putin from one of the Federation's colony worlds. She had come aboard as a bartender, their relationship was a quiet thing between them as many others suspected what was going on but neither Pasha or Zhanna spoke of it.

Pasha's service record as Captain spans over thirty years and he's seen an awfull lot of what the Federation has to offer, from the encounter with the Borg to the return of the Romulans, from the Cardassian Boarder wars to the Federation's advances in technology. Also he's seen the battle of Wolf 359 but he was not present as he had a pressing engagement elsewhere.

As time went by, Pasha and Zhanna ended up having four children as he found he loved being a father but when the Federations geopolitical climate began to start spiraling out of control as things between the Federation and their neighbors were heading up in the late sixties and the early seventies.

Pasha was present for the Second attack by the Borg on Earth and he remained in Earth space to assist with the rebuilding phase, he was then offered a posting as commander of the Bolarus sector, to his eternal chagrin he accepted and was promoted to Commodore for the assignment.

He spent the entire Dominion War, building new ships and training new people but he also got to showcase his military skills, turning back two separate Dominion thrusts, one of them was to take Zha'deur and the second was aimed at Bolarus itself. He led the force that destroyed over four hundred Dominion ships using simple but conservative tactics.

He was reassigned to command the Tenth Fleet and he helped led the Federation Forces under his command to Victory, wining several major battles in the offensive to retake the Kalandra sector from the Dominion-Cardassian Alliance. He was present for the battle of the Three suns but he missed Betazed as he was busy driving the Dominion from the Chin'Toka system for the third time.

He was present for the March on Cardassia and he helped achieve a victory. He wanted to remain in command of the tenth fleet but he was reassigned back to the Bolarus sector as the leadership on the Bolian Homeworld along with several others wanted him back there.

He remained here before he was offered the chance to help with rebuilding in the Betazed area, he accepted and went over to Starbase Eighteen not for from Betazed.

He remained here for several years but he found he wanted something different then endless administration details so he was offered the chance to explore but only as afar as Starbase One Eighty Five, orbiting Beta Leonis One eight. He honestly loved this base but it was also here where his wife died of issues from Sakuro's disease which still as yet had no cure.

Pasha tried to move on with life as he could but he lost something with her passing but shortly thereafter he was offered the posting of Commander in Chief of Starfleet as Admiral Ross didn't want it and Admiral Leonard James Akaar had just stepped down due to a corruption scandal.

Pasha knew something was up and that he was being offered as a pawn to keep the various factions happy but he decided to do something about it so he began forming a small group of his own to expose corruption and help the Federation sort itself out from the issues that seemed to be plaguing it.
