| Personal History | Aleexa Binen was born on the Denobulan homeworld in 2355 and she grew up going from ship to ship with her parents as they both were in starfleet, also as the years of her childhood rolled by, she was joined by four other siblings. Aleexa along with all of her siblings were raised more or less to become doctors and nurses as that was their family's stock in trade. As Aleexa came of age, she followed her siblings into the academy but what stood up for Aleexa was her chance encounter with an instructor that she did not need to interact with, the two ended up in bed together as Aleexa discovered she was bisexual rather than straight like her siblings. Aleexa kept this development to herself and decided not to share it with anyone, as she and this flag officer engaged in several sexual encounters over time. Aleexa was not affected in the least with regards to her classwork and her courses, neither of which had this particular instructor. Jennifer LaSteel likewise was not affected by these developments. Both women enjoyed their sexual trysts when they had them. Another encounter was with one of her classmates, a woman whom she regarded as the great love of her life but what caused cadet Aleexa Binen and Cadet Fleur Mayweather issues were that Fleur had become pregnant by a man named Ryan Mayweather, he was an engineering student a year ahead of Fleur, the two of them hit it off right away and after a short but torrid romance, he proposed marriage and she accepted. Aleexa was invited and she served as the maid of honor for this simple but effective wedding. At the end of her first year, Fleur had become pregnant so she continued her studies except without the extreme abuse she often put herself through, Ryan sometimes called her on it which always annoyed her, after carrying their son to term, Ryan taught Fleur some martial arts in order for her to defend herself. Also, Aleexa received some teachings as well from the same source. Ryan graduated a year before Fleur did, he was assigned to the USS Enterprise as a security officer but on his first cruise, there was an accident and he was killed, leaving Fleur as a Widow and a mother with their son named Jake whom she lost later to Commander Franklin Antilles own parents as they said it was for her own good, the trouble was, Starfleet JAG got involved and made what was supposed to be a temporary situation into a permanent one. Aleexa graduated with honors at the same time as Fleur. She was assigned to Starbase 12 and was assigned here for three years, she completed her residency without concerns or issues before being sent out into the fleet as a Doctor within her own right. Her first assignment found her meeting one of her closest friends, Fleur who had regained full custody of her son who had come to regard Aleexa as his aunt, Jake looked up to Aleexa and while she had not been expecting this, she came to enjoy babysitting this young but highly intelligent child. Aleexa spent time working with Fleur through not one but several assignments culminating with her assignment to the USS Hyperion but the two ended up parting company as both were competing for the top spot so Aleexa requested reassignment to another assignment, she capitulated the contest as she felt it was not needed to be. Aleexa's next assignment and first posting as Chief Medical Officer was on the USS First Minister where she remained until mid-2390 when she was asked as a personal favor from Captain Kenneth Hunt. She agreed and she remained here for one year to shakedown the USS Greenville. It was that about this time when her relationship with Fleur Mayweather became a sexual one as the two ended up in bed together on more then one occasion. Her next assignment was to the USS Triangulum as she helped shake down the second of the new generation of the Galaxy Class family of starships before she decided she wanted something else so she requested assignment to a Starbase and so when it was approved, she was reassigned to Starbase Watchman as Chief Medical Officer, she was also promoted to the rank of Captain, a surprise she was not expecting, neither was the surprise that she wasn't going to remain assigned to Watchman Station for very long, before she was assigned to the Valhalla to command the medical support Squadron assigned to Division Six of first Independent Battlegroup. |
