| Personal History | Lieutenant Commander Aafreen Nayak was born in 2363, about the same time that USS Enterprise-D was commissioned into the Federation Fleet. Aafreen Nayak was born in Tehran, Iran on Earth, her grew up as a follower of the Islamic faith on Earth and while he might never have left home, he was convinced to try something that nobody else in his family had ever done, to make a name for himself in Starfleet as one of his science instructors recommended to him. His grades were good enough and he never was able to satisfy his curiosity with the world and everything on it, so he went off tot he academy where he found an outlet for all of his pent up energy. He graduated with honors near the top of his class, he also did extra classes and so he graduated in three years rather then four. He was sent to Alpha Centauri for his various other classes such as defensive driving, weapons training and the like but he really shone in hand to hand, close quarters combat training. His first assignment was to the USS Calypso, a Luna class ship and the second several years later, likewise to the USS Calliope, another Luna Class ship. His third was to the USS Sheridan, an Excelsior and the forth, which is his present assignment, is to the USS Toronto. His promotions have followed something of a slow path but then he is in no rush, now he's settling into his assignment on the USS Toronto and he's relishing the opportunities here. |
