Mission: Mission 102: Sic Transit Tienn
Location: Various Locations - Starbase Vanguard (47)
Timeline: 0830Hrs - August 2nd, 2393

Commander Tienn Iteela smiled as she regarded the person on the display before her. "Yes Nerra, I will stick in my request today, once I finish with my paperwork and the exam for the twins. Your little one is well I trust?" Tienn inquired, of her twin sibling.

"Yes. The new little is developing at pace, I'm not sure if I wish to know the gender just yet." Nerra responded. "Anyway, don't forget the leave time," Tienn responded before tossing in the reminder.

"I will not. I must go as my exam is in five minutes and I wish to be prompt. I will contact you later with the details after I get them worked out." Tienn Iteela responded with a knowing smile.

"Sounds good, talk to you soon Iteela." Tienn Nerra hung up on her sister before she went back to what it was she had been doing earlier.

"Indeed. I will chat with you soon." and with that, she terminated the display before the small Bajoran rose to her feet and went out of the office, she went to find Lt Commander Fordring who was nearby. "Ahh. Iteela, are you prepared?" Fordring inquired of the Bajoran female who was less than half her size.

"I am, shall we proceed.?" The small Bajoran inquired as she regarded the massive female before her.

"We shall. This way." Fordring led the small female into an examination room. "Okay, up on the bed and I can get on with it," Fordring commented. Tienn did so as Fordring handed her a PADD. "Make sure you read that." the massive female commented in her usual jovial tone of voice.

Tienn regarded the information on the PADD before her. "Well it seems the inside of my skull is doing alright," she commented as she regarded Lieutenant Galiaan Fordring who was easily three times her size and mass. "How are your babies doing?"

Fordring nodded. "Yes, I'm still in talks with my husband, he's downright adamant that he does not wish another child and I do."

"Didn't you just have twins not that long ago?" the small Bajoran inquired. "Yet you still want more?" she added. "Why not adopt some of the Caitian children that are present," Tienn commented as she sat on the bed, she was in the middle of a neonatal examination. "Logic suggests that it would assist them and assist you."

"Yes. I have thought about it but my needs would have to be specific. They can't be too small otherwise I'd only regard them as housepets and I wish to avoid that issue if I can." Fordring explained.

"That would be wise." Tienn agreed with a head bob.

Fordring smiled before it faded to be replaced with a frown. "Wait. I feel hungry." she paused. "That can't be as I ate breakfast only ninety minutes ago." the massive female paused. "It's unimportant as I can always get something to eat later."

"Indeed, shall we continue?" Tienn inquired, a smile on her lips.

"Yes. I'm going to need you to lie back for me." Fordring paused a moment. "Wait, where is your mate anyway?"

"He is unavailable as he's is class and could not get time off to be with me," Tienn responded. "Its also not important to dwell on it." she let out a sigh. "We are... having issues." that was an understatement as their relationship had ended rather poorly and she was trying to keep from escalating it any further.

Fordring regarded her friend and college with a measure of concern and trepidation. "May I inquire?"

"Nebris is having issues adjusting to being male, he was used to be a female who was reckless and irresponsible. Our relationship is also having issues as we have very few common interests. Its mostly based on physical needs and he is having to adjust to a lot of things in a very short time span. There was his fight with Commander Lasky, his argument with Captain Yamaguchi which I was present for but the worst was him or rather her, sexually assaulting Lieutenant Commander Cullen, letting him think that Lasarra was Rachael." Iteela explained.

"Yes, I read about that, the only thing that saved Nebris from a court marshall and booting out of Starfleet was that Ennis didn't report it, I can tell however that he has his issues regarding your beau and by extension, you." Fordring regarded the smaller female as she spoke.

"Yes. Then there are my issues with Doctor Yamaguchi after I destroyed her knee." Tienn explained while lying on her back as Fordring gently ran her tricorder over her abdomen which was still flat and showed no signs of her pregnancy. "Well. Your injuries have fully healed, you won't be needing to see me for this ever again." Fordring inquired.

"Excellent news Doctor," Tienn responded. "I thank you for your care at this time." the prone Bajoran female inquired.

"Yes. You have been an excellent patient, I wish more behaved as you did." Fordring answered. "Some people seem to want to act like children on the matter.?" the massive female added.

"Yeah." Tienn paused. "I try to set an example. Considering the relationship I had with Nebris fell apart because of my own problems, not him." she paused as the small Bajoran felt the other woman grasp her hand as Fordring gently tugged Tienn back to a sitting position. "I have everything I need and from what I can tell, your head is in excellent shape, it's like you were never wounded in the first place," Fordring explained with a smile.

"Excellent. Thank you, Doctor." Tienn responded as she slid off of the bed and back onto her feet, she looked up at Fordring with a measure of concern. "What of you?" Iteela asked.

"Nah. I'm just hungry. Don't worry about me." Fordring answered.

"Have a seat, let me poke and prod you now. Maybe its nothing but maybe it's something." the Bajoran female spoke in a pragmatic tone as she lifted her medkit.

Fordring gently hoisted herself onto the bed. "Alright, besides its probably nothing." the massive female explained.

Tienn opened her tricorder as she began her sweep of the massive female before her. "Galiaan," Tienn commented, addressing the more massive female before her by the first name, as she raised an eyebrow, it was a sign that something was up. "You are actually pregnant. It's a single child. This will add to your twins."

Fordring paused, she had not been expecting this development, the look on her face said as much. "Oh."

"I can cure this if its an issue," Tienn commented evenly. However, she seemed hesitant about the topic.

"No," Fordring answered. "I wanted more children and have been wanting more kids for a time now so I'll keep it, in addition to the twins." the massive female spoke.

"As you wish," Tienn answered as she gave Fordring a full physical. "I can argue that I know you as intimately as your husband does." she then grinned at the massive female before her. "Perhaps more so."

"Be careful how loud you say that as he will be jealous of the details," Fordring answered with a smile. "In the meantime I need to go and see my husband, to inform him of this development."

"I do not envy you of that issue, as I must tend to one of my own," Tienn answered. "I need to go see Captain Dvald for some leave time." the shorter female explained.

"Okay, have fun, the fun you can bet I won't be having." and with that, the two medical officers parted company, one of them departing Vanguard's hospital and the other moving towards the Chief Medical officers office. "Hey. I'd like to see the Captain when she's free." Tienn inquired of the aide who was handling the administrative affairs for Dvald.

"Of course. She's presently in a meeting at the moment but might I inquire as to the subject?" the man inquired of her.

"It's a family matter that must be resolved, it has been left dormant for far too long," Tienn explained.

"Very well." as he jotted down a note and sent it to Dvald who was seated within her office, she was busy doing paperwork and some sort, any sort of distraction would be wonderful. She got the notice and smiled as she tapped a response. 'Send her in, I'll see her now.'

The aide got the notice as he shifted his attention to the female across from him. "The Captain will see you now."

"Thank you." and with that, the Bajoran female rose to her feet before she went into the office. "Captain, thank you for seeing me."

"What can I do for you, Tienn." Dvald inquired, a gentle purring sound in her voice.

Tienn decided to come right to the point, rather than waste both of their time with pointless chatter. "I wish to acquire some leave time so I might return to Bajor and correct an injustice against me and my twin." the small Bajoran explained.

"How long do you require?" Dvald's eyes widened in surprise, as she had clearly not been expecting this.

Tienn considered it for a moment. "One month."

"Done. I expect you back on the second of September then, as the humans around us reckon time."

"Thank you, Captain, I will see you on that date." and with that, she smiled as she nodded.

"Was there anything else you required?" Dvald inquired.

"Negative sir. Thank you."

"Very well. On your way then." The tall Bolian female responded with a smile, Tienn turned and departed in silence, having gotten what she had wanted from this visit to her bosses office.
