The Fire and the Frost - Part One

Mission: Mission 14: Rage Rage Rage Against the Dying of the Light
Location: Various Locations - USS Shadow
Timeline: 0800Hrs - April 21st, 2389

It was a normal day on the USS Shadow. Commander Celeste Yamaguchi was wearing her duty uniform except what was different about her uniform was the Hazard armor she was wearing, it was splattered with what looked like soot marks and splatters of something, she also stank of burnt metal and fire. To her it was the best smell ever.

She went over to the replicators, ordered her breakfast which was the same thing every day. Two egg muffins with cheese and a cup of soda which to Celeste was the real way to start her day as another officer came over. "Hey Doctor, am I bothering you?"

"Nope... Whats on your mind Selgae.... is Werner being good to you?"

Selgae chuckled which came out as a huffing sound. "He is... though I think I scare him..." she admitted.

"Maybe you should tone down the sex some.... It might help you get more from him..."

The Caitian looked confused but she then shrugged. "Alright... I can do that... but that's not my biggest bane of contention..." she paused.
"I hate the knives they issue to us, they are worse then my claws and dinner knives.... I want something truly scary, something like what
Tienn Nerra has.... Now she is downright intimidating.... except I want two of them.."

Celeste leaned forward as she listened to the Caitian as she spoke. "Go on... what sort of weapons are you interested in.... per chance?"

Selgae regarded the Doctor. "I heard you can make weapons.." she commented. "I also heard... that you prefer imagination and creativity to weapons rather then Bowie-knifes and the like.... so.... can you make this?" as the Caitian produced a PADD and she slowly slid it across to the Doctor, Celeste meanwhile watched the PADD slide across to her, in truth she had been wanting to make something for quite some time now, as she was stuck with collecting metals and the like which she had secured in her forge. The place was also secured under her voice print and retina scan,
she had made the changes and modifications since she had been assigned to the Shadow almost a year ago.

She had also made Pava and Pasha give the same security requirements to get in the door, otherwise if someone attempted to break in, the fail-safe would activate, wiping its computer clean except for the fail-safe code as well as alert security, Celeste had left nothing to chance in that the security system was among the most sophisticated ever built by someone who knew computers.

Captain T'Rae Yamaguchi had given one of these computer's to Celeste, it was designed to make life as hard as possible for a would be attacker, if someone was inside the forge when someone tried to break in, it would lock the whole place down and turn it into an armored box inside the ships superstructure.

Celeste lifted the PADD as she looked it over. "You are serious?"

"I am.... What will it cost me?"

"Well.." Celeste slowly smiled as she explained what it would cost the Caitian to make.

Selgae slowly smiled. "I agree to your terms... how long will these weapons take to make?"

"Its going to take awhile."

Now, in early March. Celeste was once more sitting in the lounge, eating breakfast as she regarded her dining companion. "The weapons will be done shortly. I'm almost finished with them."

"Excellent.." Selgae responded with a smile.

"I will deliver them to you in a couple of hours time... I need to complete a few last minute things first..."

"Alright... I look forward to it." the Caitian smiled.
