Becalmed

Mission: Mission 5: Skyfall
Location: Various Locations - USS Venator
Timeline: 1500Hrs - January 19th, 2389

The USS Venator was becalmed in space as her larger playmate had arrived not too long ago and now was providing Engineering and suport assistance to the damaged tactical cruiser. Lt Commander Torilla Yamaguchi was walking beside her Captain, a Heather Williams who as fortune would have it was an old friend.

Williams was shorter and stockier then Torilla was but she made up for it in beauty and intellect. "Well Torilla this is a nice ship you have here, its a shame she has so many gremlins aboard her.... but we will take the Thaleron weapon and the Orion spy off of your hands, we'll deal with things from here."

"Alright... how long before your guys are finished..?"

"Heh." Williams smiled at the larger woman. "What's the matter... want rid of me already... I'm devastated.."

"Don't be... That bomb makes me nervous."

"That bomb makes everyone nervous..." Williams answered evenly.

Torilla had a dark complexion and brown eyes, she was tall and muscular where as Williams was shorter but stockier, she also had a skin tone that was milky white with black hair and blue eyes but ironically enough, the two women looked alike and when others saw them together, it made one suspect they were siblings except one was human and the other was Halanian.

Torilla walked into Engineering as the two women almost ran into Captain Pike.
"Ahh... Captain, whats going on?" Torilla inquired. "Leon, this is Captain Heather Williams, skipper of the Concorde."

Lee looked towards the two women:"We have some major damage here in Engineering. Crews are working round the clock to make repairs."

"Oh... well... your full of good news now aren't you." Williams commented evenly as she looked up at him.

Torilla raised an eyebrow. "Well... they won't do us any favors, how long before its repaired?"

Lee gave a quick look over at Williams before turning back to Torilla:"It's gonna be at least a good 12 hours or more before repairs can be completed."

"Alright, tell our Chief to try and shave some time off of that if he can."

He nodded:"I will inform the Chief and see what he can do."

Williams raised an eyebrow. "An observation... if I may?" the smaller woman regarded Pike.

Lee looked at Williams and nodded

"I can feel the raw power you bring with you." the human woman commented. "I'm sure Torilla here feels warmed by your presence."

He gave a small chuckle:"Yes I have been told that I have quite a bit of raw power."

Williams raised an eyebrow. "Yet, you are only half Betazoid yet you are much stronger then my husband and he is full Betazoid, I don't understand how that's possible."

Torilla raised an eyebrow. "you are not full human yourself Heather..."

"No... one eighth Vulcan."

Lee looked at both women:"Actually my grandparents on my mother's side where pretty strong Betazoids and it skipped a generation and got me, it's also been proven there are other telepaths that have ran in the family."

Williams smiled. "Ahh." she replied as she looked up at him as he was over a foot taller then she was. "Well... that explains much."

He nodded:"Am glad that I could explain it for you."

Williams turned to Torilla. "Anyway, my flunkies should be finished refitting your ship in a matter of hours..."

"Thank you."

Lee nodded:"If you'll excuse me ladies but I must get to some other duties."

Williams nodded as Torilla raised an eyebrow. "Keep me informed as to the status of the repairs.."

"Was nice to meet you Captain Williams."

"Indeed Captain Pike." the shorter woman responded.
