Homeward Bound - Part Six

Mission: Mission 105: The Mirror, Shattered
Location: Various Locations - Starbase Vanguard
Timeline: 1430Hrs - October 8th, 2393

Ouros stopped at a turbolift door, she tapped the call button and she waited, the door opened and in she went, she gave her destination and the turbolift car was off with a soft humming sound, the door opened a moment later as she found herself looking into the eyes of a woman she knew intimately well. "Elizabeth... What are you doing here?" Ouros inquired of her twin.

"I heard that the Infinity had returned to the Starbase... I came looking for you." Elizabeth Yamaguchi-Solusar answered with a smile. "Come on, you are needed... Aunt Plataea asked for you if you were present to be there... She's having her baby shortly and she wants you there."

"Oh... Let's go then." Ouros turned and followed her twin down the hallway. "You look great, hows your little one?" Ouros asked her twin.

Meanwhile, the doors to a random set of guest quarters opened as Enyo kicked off her boots and draped her jacket over the nearest chair. "Come on in guys, make yourselves at home..." Enyo commented to her children. "Tomorrow I'll make arrangements for you as there will be times when I am away from the base... Now we have plenty of family members close by so make an effort to bond with them," she explained to Benjamin and Ethelyn. "Tonight, I'm going to make dinner... You've both not had a decent meal in way too long... but first, let me show you around." as she led her children to two bedrooms. "Ethelyn, this is your room... and Ben, yours is down the hallway. The Starbase has lavish quarters. But don't go anywhere as I need to get you added to the system... We can do that later as I'm tired and... you two will want time to process whats happened."

Benjamin regarded his mother whom he out massed by almost two to her one, he was large and massively built, he took after his dad while Ethelyn took after their mother, she was far more slender then he was which was why he had protected her in the camp from the other laborers. "Will you two be alright?"

"I have no idea..." Ethelyn answered softly. "I was always the target of other people's lust... Ben tied to keep them off me..." she paused. "We are safe here... right?"

"We are, yes," Enyo answered quietly.

"Good... I'm going to go get some sleep..." Ethelyn answered before she gently hugged her mother before she departed. Benjamin turned to his mother. "We were told you were dead..."

"You were lied to, which is nothing new..." Enyo answered. "But I am not dead and I am not going to die on you guys, not a chance... So what will you do now?" Enyo inquired of the massive man before her.

"I don't know..." he inquired of her. "But I am tired so... I think some sleep is in order."

Meanwhile, Ethan Duval appeared in transporter room fifteen as he smiled, he quickly adjusted the strap of his pack, that he had slung over his shoulder before him stood a woman he had come to know intimately well. Post Captain Hannah Mueller smiled as she regarded him. "Ethan." she addressed him before she stepped forward and gave him a gentle kiss on the lips. "Sind Sie bereit?" she asked. "Are you ready to depart?" the system translated.

"Yeah. Let's go." Duval answered as the two departed the transporter room together. Once out into the hallway, he turned his head to regard her. "Hannah, you look like you have something to say... Out with it already."

"Ich habe ein paar Neuigkeiten für Sie." she commented but what he heard was, "I have some news to share with you."

Duval raised an eyebrow. "Oh... Go on..." he commented.

"Erst wenn wir unser Quartier erreichen, unterhalte ich mich auf den Fluren." Mueller commented but what he heard was, "Not until we reach your quarters, I am not having this chat in the hallways."

Duval nodded. "Okay." he knew that no amount of cajoling or encouragement could cause her to change her mind and thus he decided to not force the issue, as the two took a turbolift and another short walk before they were standing inside Duval's home. "So what do you have to tell me?"

"Ich bin schwanger, du bist der Vater und nein. Ich kenne das Geschlecht dieses Kindes noch nicht." Mueller commented but what he heard was, "I am pregnant, you are the father and no. I do not know the gender of this child, yet."

Duval slowly smiled. "That's... wonderful news.." he answered as he gently took her in his arms ad the two shared a rather passionate kiss on the lips.
