Tienn Kenris nodded. "Yeah, that's about the long and the short of the matter before me," he commented. He was presently talking to one of Koll's associates, a Vedek by the name of Tarin Sarr. "Koll has refused to sort the matter out and he's still causing me more and more issues, so it falls to me to deal with the matter." Kenris regarded the middle-aged Bajoran woman before him on the display, she wore the trappings of her office and this was something Kenris did not mind in the least.

"I reviewed the footage you send me while I had you on hold. You do have a compelling case of abuse by members of the clergy." Tarin sighed softly. "I had hoped to not have to deal with Koll, he was rather well-liked and respected, he would often pose deep questions of the will of the Prophets and Their designs for us in our every day lives, then you come and present this case before me. I assume the matter was for you to deal with, not him?"

"Yes, I saw no need to attaint my own children as no offense had been committed." Kenris sighed as he growled. "Especially not one of that level. I told Koll that I would see this done, now I left it to him to deal with but he has to my knowledge, done nothing about the matter before us so I'm going to deal with it instead," he commented to Tarin. "I left the matter of the attainder of his child out, as that is a separate matter altogether," Kenris explained.

"Wait... Who's child?" Tarin was sounding more and more surprised while the conversation wore on. "Koll's child. His eldest to be more specific, she had a child of her own with a Klingon, it was a one-night dalliance that Durin enjoyed, the Klingon isn't mated to her and she considers the matter closed, except for Noel who she left behind with friends on her assignment, same with Iteela and Nerra who both left all of their children with my first wife's family on Utgarde Four." Kenris explained in flat, even tones.

"Oh my, it sounds like this case should have been resolved long ago." Tarin sighed softly. "I will need to watch your conversation of what was said between you and Koll which I've yet to see. What was all of this over?" she inquired.

"Iteela had been grievously wounded while she was serving in the medical corps on the USS Roanoke, a Federation starship, something went wrong in their sickbay and the special services unit assigned to protect an ambassador decided to declare war on the entire crew. Iteela was injured in the ensuing firefight which saw one person dead and almost everyone else present was wounded, many critically," he explained. "Had specialized medical care not been available, Iteela would have died on the table, you, see, her skull was crushed and she only survived thanks to the medical care from one of the Federations allies, I forget their names."

"Oh my, that sounds shocking... Go on?" Tarin inquired.

"Nerra and I were discussing the matter about a day or so later, Iteela had been reduced to a child-like state due to crippling levels of brain damage that she had taken on the matter. Koll took offense to Nerra questioning her faith over what happened to her twin. Asking questions about things was what I taught all of my children to do., Jaina taught her own children to do the same. Koll saw it as Nerra abandoning her faith and so he had her attainded, same with Iteela."

"I will look into this matter myself and if there is foul play, I will deal with this myself. Thank you, kind sir, for bringing the matter to my attention. You may be assured that actions on this will be swift and quick."

"Thank you, Taris, walk with the Prophets" as the com-call finished and Kenris rose to his feet, the scent of freshly cooked food was filling the room as he could hear his stomach rumbling at him, demanding to be filled. He smiled as the door opened before him, he found himself facing Nerra. "Oh.. hey Dad. I was about to call on you, dinner is ready and we're waiting for you," she explained why she was standing before his office.

"Thank you Nerra. How are your children doing?" Kenris inquired of his daughter, a smile on his face.

"Balin is still adjusting to having a family, as are my other kits," Nerra answered as she fell into step alongside her father. Kenris could see that this woman was all muscle and sinew, she was but machine and nerve and had her mind concluded. "Kits?, I don't understand the usage of the term..."

"Oh right, sorry. I adopted eight Ferasian children, they look like Caitians and they more or less are Caitians." She paused. "But there are differences, subtle ones. There are differences in the terms used."

"Ferasian... Doesn't that mean Slave or servant?" Kenris asked of her, knowing fully well that this was a delicate subject for her.

Nerra nodded, as the two of them entered the main sitting area where everyone else was seated around the massive dinner table. "Yeah. Balin is sixteen years old and he's having issues adjusting, he was quite badly abused." she then huffed a sigh.

Jeric regarded his sibling with an odd look in his eye. "You never said you had kids..."

"I didn't think his worship would let me speak." Nerra indicated Koll who pointedly ignored her.

"Who cares what the Lord of Nothing thinks. You are still kin and that will never change-" Jerric was interrupted with Koll saying something incredibly stupid. "She is kin to you, not me."

"That is... Your loss." Iteela answered in her flat tone of voice that was now normal for her.

Tienn Prinu regarded Koll with a look of distaste. "You sir, are out of line."

Tienn Moi glared at her brother-in-law with a rather dark glare. "I think you enjoy this, being an asshole to others I mean," she commented. "You are an example of all that's wrong with Bajor's religious system. All ego and no intelligence... What.. You gonna have me attainded now?" she glared at him. "Go on, do it, big man..."

"Koll, knock it off man, can't we enjoy a meal without fighting...?" Leran answered.

"Control your wife," Koll answered.

"Con-what?" Leran scoffed in amusement. "Wait, what... Control... Surely you jest... I do not control anyone. You seem to have confused me for someone who actually cares about your faith." as he indicated Nerra and Iteela with his hand. "They are but machines and nerves and have their minds concluded." as he regarded his brother. "You are but flesh and faith, and you're deluded."

"Okay, enough" Kenris commented quietly. "This is getting out of hand. We came here to eat a meal together and give thanks for the coming of the Emissary," he explained as Koll shot to his feet. "I will not be spoken to in this manner." and with that, he stormed out. Iteela sighed. "Okay, everyone dig in, there is plenty of food and I'd like to see it all eaten. Jerric and I worked very hard on this and I'd like it to be enjoyed."

Jerric smiled. "Iteela, you should have been a chef."

"I was thinking the same of you, you should join Starfleet, I can use someone of your skillsets and I am not alone either. Nerra is a Marine and I know the marines could use you as well." Ityeela answered.

Nerra nodded. "My Boss would happily have you," she added. "With the way you cook, I suspect that many of my Marines will want you too."

Kenris smiled. "Alright guys, let's eat." as he and everyone else began digging into the massive amount of food that had been made for this event.
