Mission: Mission 119: The Cycles of Time
Location: Various Locations - Utgarde IV
Timeline: 1000Hrs, January 14th, 2394

Fleet Captain Torilla Yamaguchi slowly opened her eyes as she woke up, she did not often get to sleep in late on most days, hell on any day of the week. Her sleep was often cut short by various issues, concerns and demands. Usually, the concerns of the various children in her care would often occupy her time and attention. Which, she was very good at managing both.

She smiled as she sat up, allowing the blanket to fall away from her chest. It revealed the slinky nightdress she often wore while she was at home or in the field. She tended to wear rather conservative clothing, which was comfortable as she slowly peeled the blankets away from her before she placed her feet down on the carpet of the bedroom.

Mentally she reached out with her senses. She detected only her spouse nearby. Something which made her smile as she quickly considered touching his mind with her own. This would let Jake know that she was awake, but she opted to not do that. She slowly stood up, as she got up out of bed. Torilla then stepped over to the large window which was still covered with the curtains. They had been closed to block out the light of the early morning sun from shining into the bedroom and disturbing her rest. She pulled them open revealing the space beyond and the sunlight which poured into the room. For a moment, Torilla was blinded by the starlight. Her eyes quickly adjusted after only a moment.

Torilla looked out at the large expanse of empty pristine land. It was untouched by anyone for any reason whatsoever. Torilla knew she preferred it to remain as such.

"Oh wow, you look fucking hot wearing naught but a slinky nightdress." Torilla heard her husband comment as he regarded her from behind.

Jake was leaning against the doorframe as he smiled. "I wasn't sure if you were awake, so I figured I'd let you sleep," he commented. "But that view was worth the wait," he added, with a wide grin on his face. "Because dammm. Tee. You look hot!" he added.

"You're the Admiral," Torilla responded with a cheerful smile on her lips. "Besides, you do more work in one day than I do in a week," she added.

"Thats not true," Jake commented as he approached his spouse. He then gently embraced her from behind. "Oh yes, it is," Torilla answered as she felt him slide his arms around her from behind. "I've missed this, just the two of us and the silence," he commented as he gently kissed the side of her neck.

Torilla responded with a soft groan deep in her throat. She knew exactly what he meant by the silence. No children present to ruin the moment. No pets either, to cause issues and distractions.

This was a major turn-on spot for her. She knew it, as did Jake. "Now now, Jake. Don't be starting something you don't have time to finish," she whispered.

"Don't tempt me," Jake responded slowly. However, he did not peel off his wife's nightdress, nor did he start any foreplay with her. Torilla turned in her husband's embrace as she faced him. "I just got up not two minutes before you walked through the door," she explained with a smile on her face. "But I really have missed this. Sleeping next to you on a planet-based assignment. Getting to spend time with the kids rather than being an absent mother."

"It sounds like you love being home," Jake commented with a soft smile. "If you want. I can look into it for you. But I don't want to screw you out of a command that you worked so hard for." Yamaguchi explained to his spouse.

"Thats just it Jake," Torilla admitted. "Being in command of a ship of the line. It's nice and all but I have other commitments that need, and require my attention." she then shrugged. "Besides. It's not fair that my husband and mate have to watch the kids while I go galivanting all over the galaxy, doing who knows what with who knows where." she then smiled. "Besides. For one, time works for me, rather than against me. Especally with the ageless medical technology that's now becoming mainstream for Federation citizens." Torilla explained. "I meant what I said, Jake. Say the word, and I'll come home."

Jake gently touched his wife's chin with his fingers. "Tee. I'm gonna be honest. That temptation is overpowering. But I don't want to screw your career. You let me have my command when we had our first group of kids."

"Yep," Torilla responded with a nod of her head. "I remember," she added. "OKay then. Jake. Look into it for me then." she added.

"Are you sure?" Jake inquired. He wanted to be certain of this.

Torilla answered him with a look. "Yes," she whispered before she kissed him.
