Mission: Mission 118: The Christmas from Hell
Location: Various Locations - Starbase Vanguard
Timeline: 1850Hrs - December 24th, 2393

"I... I should go." Yamaguchi sighed a second time. She was making a mess of this and she knew it.

"Go where?" Wolfsong responded.

Yamaguchi paused. "I'm going over to the food table. I've not had a solid meal all day and I desperately need to eat something." the tall woman explained softly. "If we're going to be doing anything other than staring in silent hatred at each other then I need some food. Nothing worse then planning something on an empty stomach." Yamaguchi commented.

"Very well." Wolfsong turned as Yamaguchi resumed her trek over to the table, where she found Elizabeth talking to another young woman. One whom she didn't know. "Beth."

Yamaguchi-Solusar grinned. "Ouros!" she cheered as she rose to her feet before embracing her twin. "Ouros. I'm so glad you came.!"

"I'm not. Morg is over there and we have... Unfinished issues." Yamaguchi answered as the other woman rose to her feet and approached. "I'm Kalliope Walking Bear. One of Vanguard's many surgeons." she introduced herself.

Yamaguchi gently shook the smaller woman's hand with her own. "I'm Ouros Yamaguchi. I decided on a different career path then my twin here," she commented.

Waling Bear smiled as she watched Yamaguchi pick up a plate. Before she began heaping the food that she was selecting onto it. "Long day with no food?" Walking Bear commented, with both eyebrows raised as she watched the other woman go about gathering her food.

Yamaguchi nodded. "Yeah. Working out on an empty stomach sucks. I never got the chance to eat lunch as I decided to punish myself for being a moron." she commented in a flat tone of voice. "Because. Yeah, I'm stupid."

Yamaguchi-Solusar regarded her twin. "Have a seat Ouros and tell us how life's been treating you," she commented with a gentle smile. She knew that Ouros was going to want to deal with the other issue in the room.

"I'd love to, but I need to go and deal with Morg Wolfsong." Yamaguchi paused. "When that's complete. I'll come and join you two." she paused. "But I have kept him away for far too long."

Yamaguchi-Solusar gently touched her twin on the shoulder. "Be careful. I know he's carrying a torch for you. He mentally tells me whenever he sees me. He keeps thinking that I'm you." Yamaguchi-Solusar in a soft tone of voice. Yamaguchi looked at her twin. She could see the pain that working with Wolfsong had been causing her. "Please. Just tread carefully. Is all I'm saying."

"Alright," Yamaguchi whispered. "It's time I dealt with this issue. Once... and forever." and with that, she nodded to Walking Bear who nodded back. Yamaguchi then moved off.

Walking Bear lifted her arm as if to yank on a magic chain, anything to stop Ouros from walking to her fate. Yamaguchi-Solusar gently took the other woman's hands in her own. "Come on. We should leave her to it."

"Wolfsong has good cause to despise her and you going to let her walk into the lion's den?" Walking Bear asked softly.

"I am. Because Ouros has faced far more dangerous threats than most could imagine." Yamaguchi-Solusar closed her eyes as she breathed and then she opened them again. "It's best if I leave that for her to tell you. I know the details and I still can't believe it myself, even after all this time."

Walking Bear opened her mouth to say something but Yamaguchi-Solusar smiled. "Kalliope. We shouldn't talk about her when she's not here. Ouros will tell you all of this herself, when she feels the time is right and you won't run away, screaming." she paused. "Let me put it another way. Ouros has seen and handled shit that would break most people I know. Including me." she paused as she popped some more pie into her mouth. "Mmm... Let's eat."

Meanwhile. Ouros Yamaguchi approached Morg Wolfsong with her large plate of food. She just so happened to walk past an empty table when suddenly, she decided to sit down. With that, she began eating her food in silence. Wolfsong came over in silence and she indicated the chairs across from her. He sat down in silence while he waited for her to enjoy her meal.

Yamaguchi was hungry so she decided she would eat before she began to talk about the matters at hand. She went through the chicken bits. Then the potato wedges. Then the fish sticks, Then the cheese melt sandwiches. Lastly, she finaly came to the meatballs. These were drenched in pasta sauce which was, as far as Yamaguchi was concerned, were perfect in every way.

Yamaguchi quickly curled her fingers a few times, for one moment. This was a woman in heaven. She gently picked one up and bite a chunk out of it. "Mmm... Oh yes. Nothing like Swedish meatballs." as she swallowed the mouthfull of food in her mouth.
