Mission: Mission 96: Settling Accounts
Location: Various Locations - Starbase 12
Timeline: 1300Hrs - September 10th, 2392

Chief Petty Officer Jiao Anderson looked left and then right, she was wearing the standard duty uniform of someone who was assigned to Engineering on the starbase so she had a full set of equipment and the like.

The shorter-then-average woman smiled as she tried her best to look the part rather than what she actually was. "Hows it going?" she inquired

"I can't rush this, y'know?" Lieutenant Neban Hular responded in a gentle tone of voice. "They have better encryption then I've never seen before.

Varkon simply looked from left to right while he didn't say anything, suddenly comm system beeped. "Anderson to Anderson. Hey Mom, you gonna home for dinner?"

Jiao blinked. "What?" she was struck speechless as she had no idea of what to say. "mmm I'm sorry but I think you have the wrong Anderson. Sorry ...ummm whoever you are."

"No mom, this ain't funny." came the teenaged voice.

"What do you mean?" Anderson paused. "Why are you using the public com system anyway?"

"Mom, are you alright?"

"Yes. I'm fine, now get off the comm. I'm busy and I'll... I'll see you later."

"Kay... Umm what'cha doing?"

"Work... I need to go now." as Anderson hung up on the intruder. "Fuck." the small female muttered.

"Well, that was impressive." Lieutenant Neban Hular commented. "You were almost convincing," he commented in a dry tone of voice, while he worked.

"Thank you," Anderson responded insincerely.

Suddenly an alarm went off as Anderson looked at him. "Nice work moron. Now we're screwed."

Varkon simply shrugged but he said nothing while the alarms wailed.

SIB Special Operative First class Kithlam Frinick tapped multiple keys on her console. The SIB agent had been playing cat and mouse with the alternate universe infiltrators for some time, and now she decided, a fun time was over. She then reported. "Alright, I have them, Section 14, Deck 112."

Cloudkit, the Eeiaouoan leader of his SIB team, nodded, then tapped his combadge. "Cloudkit to Addash, They are in section 14, deck 112."

Staff Lieutenant Creza Addash, the Squad leader for her eleven person Swat team nodded. "Alright, we are on the move." The Arakor female then led the way to that area."

Nick Castle brought up the rear as he was one of the larger of the troops present for this and he was also one of the older people here.

The Caitian female dropped her sidearm, it clattered across the floor, she went to go collect it as she muttered something to her gods, Castle meanwhile smiled in amusement but chose not to comment on it.

The group reached their destination moments later.

Creza, being an Arakor had incredibly sharp hearing and sense of smell. She then mentioned to the rest of her team," Alright, we have a Brikar, a Capellan, a Trill, and a Human."

"how the hell are we going to deal with a Brikar," Zythi asked apprehensively.

"Set your phaser to wide beam," Creza answered, that way when you shoot him, you knock out his gravity compensator and immobilize him."

Zythi nodded and readied her weapon.

Neban shrugged. "Would you calm the fuck down woman. I mean seriously.. let everyone in the world know we're here."

"We're screwed man because you fucked up." Anderson shot back tersely as Varkon simply chuckled softly. "This is great entertainment. You two should do a tour on this... Or get married."

Jiao sneered. "Shut it Varkon." she indicated Neban. "He likes abusing women rather than being gentle."

Hular sighed softly. "Idiot woman."

Marrick F'enu simply smiled as he watched the argument rather than watch the hallway, he in truth didn't really care either way and now that he was about to be captured, he was happy that this was almost over.

Varkon sighed softly. "Guys, we have company." he indicated the doorway nearby.

Meanwhile. Melissa Page smiled. "Alright, if they do somethin' dumb, shoot em and we can sort it out later," she commented before she took a moment to adjust her cowboy hat on her head. "We ready?"

Creza nodded and directed her team forward, and within moments, the entire SWAT team entered the room, their weapons pointed at the four infiltrators. Creza calmly commanded. "Alright, drop your weapons and put your hands up, and there won't be any trouble."

Varkon smiled. "'S'up?" he inquired as he leaned against the wall.

Jiao Anderson snarled something as she quickly yanked the cover off of the crawlspace and dove into it before she pulled the cover back on. Marrik F'enu simply shrugged as he glanced over at the SWAT team. "What kept you?" he said amid a few chuckles.

Neban Hular sighed softly. "Aww shit," he muttered. "Alright, fine, you got me.." he commented. "Well played."

Creza then directed to her team. "Alright, take these three into custody, Kramesu, you're with me, we'll find the runner."

Kramesu nodded and followed Creza, who used her sensitive nose and hearing to track Jiao.

The Brikar peered down the smaller people. "Alright big man, drop your gear on the deck."

"As you wish." as he shrugged off the five hundred pounds of kit on his back which landed on the deck with a loud crunching sound. The young Caitian turned and shot Varkon with her phaser on stun. He regarded her with a growl. "Caitian. Come here." Varkon growled.

"Okay, that's enough partner." Missy Page commented. "Look, big man, we don't wanna have no trouble."

Varkon peered down at the human female wearing the strange headwear. "That was... Unwise." he rumbled.

Page looked up at him. "Maybe but I do not need you losin' it. Now let's go, big man. Nice an' easy."

Hular shrugged. "I am surprised that he's not already ripped the Caitian girls head from her shoulders... hey Varkon, are you learning self-control?"

"No. I do not care to bother really." Varkon answered.

Meanwhile, Jiao Anderson moved through the crawlspaces, no idea whatsoever of where she was going. She knew she was being tracked so she decided to set an ambush for her pursuer.

Both Creza and Kramesu detected where Jiao was waiting with their noses. The two of them passed looks at each other, and without needing to say anything, Kramesu rounded the corner first.

He rounded the corner to meet Jiao's fists as she rabbit-punched him several times in quick succession before she hauled off and kicked him twice. "Oh, crap." Anderson quickly realized three things, this was never going to work, she was facing a Gorn and he was unharmed while she was half crippled.

"Aww fuck," she muttered. "Go on then, you fat ugly fierfek, get on with it." the small human woman growled, as she assumed that he was going to kill her.

Kramesu was not slow in his movements. He very quickly overpowered Jiao and soon had her lying on the floor in handcuffs, but otherwise not injured by any of his actions. the big Gorn then turned to Creza and asked. "Whats a Fierfek."

Creza shrugged. "No idea."

"It means 'Fat, ugly lizard.'" Jiao explained quietly from where she was lying on the floor. "But... tell me something Mister Gorn.. Or whatever you are called, the next time, perhaps you could find a way to make your point in a manner that isn't quite so... Uncomfortable."

"Well if you hadn't decided to resist arrest then punch me, I wouldn't need to make my point in an uncomfortable manner," Kramesu replied indifferently.

"I'll remember that Gorn," Anderson responded quietly. "Are you more than just a cardboard cutout of a Gorn... or just a boring flatfoot of a cop?"

"Trust me, you don't want me 'interested' in you when I am on the job," Kramesu replied as he got Anderson to her feet.

Anderson snorted in disgust. "You bore me monsieur." as she regarded him. "Get on with it," she demanded.

Creza could smell Anderson's fear, and the fact that she wetted herself slightly, "Your fake bravado is not working, I know you're terrified of Kramesu, don't worry, he isn't going to eat you or anything like that, so you can stop wetting your pants."

Anderson growled softly right before she made her move and drove her boot into Kramesu's feet. "So you're not gonna hurt me, good," she answered. "Stupid reptile."

Kramesu gave her a funny look then commented," You know, if you behave, I'll make sure the doctor fixes your injuries promptly and you will get a clean set of clothes, otherwise, you're going to be sitting in a cell for a while with your self-inflicted injuries."

"You're lying to me," Anderson responded. "Come on, you make them so transparent. So when does the abuse start?" she added. "I mean my guys would have started already. Whats stopping you?"

"The fact that I have better things to do in life than abusing people," Kramesu answered flatly, "That and unlike your pathetic excuse of a universe, we actually have moral standards here."

"You are not impressing me," Anderson responded quietly. "So far I am not seeing any differences between either reality."

KRamesu paused, then commented. "Your one of those people whom always feel they must absolutely get the last word in to make you feel better about yourself, aren't you."

Jiao Anderson sighed softly as she simply whimpered softly but she frowned softly as Anderson felt the Gorn quite literally pick her up before they carried her off.

Meanwhile, the rest of the team were beamed over to the starbase stockade. Varkon looked down at the assembled security personnel. Detective First Class Melissa Page regarded him warily as she commented. "We don't wanna trouble big man."

Varkon decided not to respond to the comment, but instead, the massive being simply shrugged in an 'I don't care' tone, before he knelt down in the brig, before allowing his eyes to side closed, he then reached down and turned off his gravity compensator. "Ahhh..." he sighed loudly before he quite literally became immobile which was what he had wanted in the first place.

Lieutenant Neban Hular sat down on his bunk in silence before he took a quick look around, one brig cell was more the same as another but Neban had seen enough in his life to know that this brig was extremely well appointed. "Wait, hold it.. guys. This is a brig right?"

Missy Page raised an eyebrow as she turned her head. "Yeah. That's an odd question to be asking."

"Well where we come from, these places are better than our guest quarters on some of our ships."

"Well. I don't know what to tell ya big man." Page honestly had no idea. "Well send a medic to look at you and then we'll feed you while we decide what to do with you. I recommend you get some rest."

Hular smiled, as he pulled off his tunic to reveal a massive barrel chest that had been crisscrossed with tribal-like tattoos that were of a dark red color. Page watched him carefully as she was mentally prepared to smack the panic button in case he did anything stupid. Hular simply stretched out on his bunk before passing out, falling asleep quickly.

The last prisoner was brought in as Page regarded KRamesu with a nod. "So far they seem interested in getting some sleep. How did your little hunt go?" she inquired, a smile on her lips.
