Hearts and Minds - Part One

Mission: Mission 69: Tienn's Fall from Grace
Location: Various Locations - Watchman Station
Timeline: 0900Hrs - June 2nd, 2392

Major Tienn Nerra sneezed in the shower with such force that she almost fell over, she lost her footing in the shower and had to catch the nearby handle otherwise the end result would have been extremely painful for her.

"Take a look in the mirror. And what do you see? Do you see it clearer? Or are you deceived? In what you believe. 'Cause I'm only Bajoran after all. You're only Bajoran after all. Don't put the blame on me. Don't put your blame on me" Tienn sang once she got herself stabilized as she tried to resume her singing in the shower, it was a ritual she did every time she was in the shower, either alone or with someone else. "thinking I can see through this, see whats behind." she added, still in song before she sneezed another six times, all in quick succession. "Aww what the Khosst!" the small Bajoran snarled. "Why am I sneezing so much?"

Tienn then dunked her head under the faucet as she began washing her hair which when left undone, went down to her shoulders. Tienn had come to enjoy the feeling of hot or warm water washing over her body before and after a long shift, today, however, she wasn't due to start until ten hundred hours which didn't bother her in the least.

"Some people got the real problems. Some people out of luck. Some people think I can solve them. Lord heavens above. I'm only Bajoran after all. I'm only Bajoran after all. Don't put the blame on me. Don't put the blame on me." Tienn sang loudly as she poured herself a copious amount of shampoo before she began washing her hair while she continued singing.

Don't ask my opinion. Don't ask me to lie. Then beg for forgiveness. For making you cry. Making you cry. 'Cause I'm only Bajoran after all. I'm only human after all. Don't put your blame on me. Don't put the blame on me ." Tienn was washing the shampoo out of her hair as she continued singing.

"Oh, some people got the real problems. Some people out of luck. Some people think I can solve them. Lord heavens above. I'm only Bajoran after all. I'm only Bajoran after all. Don't put the blame on me. Don't put the blame on me" Tienn meanwhile had poured herself a generous amount of soap before she began sudding herself up from head to her toes and everything in between.

"I'm only Bajoran. I make mistakes. I'm only Bajoran. That's all it takes. To put the blame on me. Don't put the blame on me." Tienn resumed her singing as she began washing the soap off of her body as she sneezed twice in quick succession. Tienn frowned but she resumed her singing a moment later.

"I'm no prophet or Messiah. Should go looking somewhere higher. I'm only Bajoran after all. I'm only Bajoran after all. Don't put the blame on me. Don't put the blame on me." Tienn finished her song as she turned the water off, she then reached up over her head, grasping her hair, the small Bajoran proceeded to wring it out of its excess water before she ran her fingers over her soft skin, removing the excess water before she stepped out of the shower.

Tienn proceeded to wrap one towel around her midsection, it covered from just under her arms and over her breasts to halfway down her thighs. She smiled as it wasn't like anyone would care what she looked like in naught but her skin, well except K'Taro that is. He was around here somewhere and she didn't know where.

Tienn went into the master bedroom as she began drying herself off, before she began donning her clothing, first the underwear and socks, then her pants and uniform undershirt, then her battle ready uniform jacket over the top of her gold undershirt. She then pulled on her boots as she made a mental note to stop by the starbase hospital to get herself looked at.

Tienn went over to the replicator and ordered herself a quick breakfast, which she then wolfed down quickly and then she departed. Tienn found herself navigating hallways, turbolifts, and corridors to her next destination. Entering the starbase medical center a few minutes later.

Tienn went to the front deck. "Hi. I need a quick physical to ensure that everything is alright. I've been sneezing a lot suddenly. I want to make sure I've not developed allergies to something."

"Okay Major. Have a seat over there and we'll get to you as soon as possible." the nurse responded with a smile.

"Thanks," Tienn responded before moving over to the waiting area, there was nobody present as she picked up a holozine and started to read it. A few minutes later her name was called. "Yes?" Tienn inquired.

"Hey Nerra. I'll be looking at you today." A tall Denobulan female addressed her, a wide smile on her face.

"Okay. Sounds good to me Aleexa." Tienn went to follow the retreating Denobulan into an examination room. "Have a seat and we'll get started." the tall female commented.

Tienn hoisted herself up onto the bed as requested in silence as the medical officer went to work. Tienn couldn't help but give the Denobulan's figure the once over as she thought the tall female before her was really nice looking and easy on the eyes. 'I wonder how often Aleexa gets laid by people?' Tienn thought to herself. 'It's a lot more than me, that's for sure.' Tienn added.

Binen meanwhile was busy checking the information she had just received from the tricorder. "Mmm. Well, you seem a little malnourished and you are pregnant."

"Pregnant. Well, that explains a great many things." Tienn commented.

"Do you wish to be pregnant?" the Denobulan asked. "I can take care of things, should you wish it?"

"No. I'll keep the child," Tienn responded quietly before she smiled. "I did want a family of my own, it's just happening sooner then I had anticipated which is fine."

"Are you sure?" Binen inquired.

Tienn took a calming, cleansing breath. "Yes. I am sure."

"Alright. You can still change your mind at any time. Should it become needed." Binen responded. "I assume congratulations are in order then?"

"Yes. They are." Tienn responded before she grinned at the other woman.

"Alright then." and with that Binen rose to her feet. "I'll update your records regarding this development. I'll also update the rest of your medical files."

"Sounds good. Thanks" With that. Tienn took her to leave before she headed for work.
