Torilla Returns: Pillow Talk

Mission: Mission 87: Torilla Returns
Location: Various Locations - USS Lancaster
Timeline: 2030Hrs May 28th, 2392

First Lieutenant Selendis Yamaguchi was lying on the bed she tended to share with her boyfriend, second Lieutenant Atin Temetti who was in the bathroom, taking care of his needs as she sighed softly. "I hardly knew her," she commented softly. "I can't feel anything and yet I see the others, all miserable and heartbroken and I can't feel anything." she shook her head before the young woman sat up. "Fuck I am truly a miserable little shit." she then sat up, all she was wearing was her night-dress as she was planning on getting an early night in bed.

"That's not true," Atin commented, causing her to turn her head. "I hate it when you do that," she commented with a sigh as she spotted only the outline of his form in the darkness.

"Security is mortals chiefest enemy," he responded lightly. "After all, we are but mortal. So whats bothering you?" Atin inquired of his girlfriend.

"Torilla Yamaguchi was killed in action and I feel nothing, no response or pity. I feel only relief, that it wasn't my mother. Plataea Yamaguchi is still alive, still whole and she is still herself. Yet when I look at Gabe or Elizabeth. I have to hide my relief. I hate it." Selendis admitted softly. "I feel like such a horrible person," she added quietly.

"Why should you hate it?" Atin inquired of her as he sat down on the bed next to her. "Your mother isn't the one who was killed."

"It could have been her." Selendis sighed softly.

"It could have been any of us who had gotten killed. The end result would have been the same." he explained. "but personally I think you are being too hard on yourself. I mean she is still alive, after a fashion and she is well, also after a fashion."

"That doesn't really help me." the young female sighed softly.

Atin regarded her. "Well let's go over your issues." he began checking items off on one hand. "You've been out of sorts since you arrived late last year, you keep expecting to, I dunno." he paused as he shrugged his shoulders. "revert back to the horror you lived with for your entire life. With you being someone else's fucktoy."

Selendis knew exactly where of he spoke as the young woman simply nodded her head, he checked off one finger. "You don't know where you fit in with her life. How does Torilla think of you?". Atin checked off his fingers as he rattled off his points one at a time.

Selendis paused. "I.. I don't know," she answered quickly. "I've tried to get to know her but it's spooky, she's identical to mom in all respects." the young woman sighed softly. "I just... I dunno."

"You've never considered this possibility before. That you might end up in another reality that some would consider being far better than the one they left behind, but that the woman who would have been your mother in this reality had just died in battle but even worse, she's been resurrected and now. Torilla Yamaguchi has risen from the grave." Atin explained. "Security is after all, mortals chiefest enemy."

"Yeah, and I got no idea how to process any of this." Selendis sighed softly. "I've never even imagined I'd ever be in a situation like this." she let out a soft sigh.

"What about your siblings?" Atin inquired. "Did they ever think they would face this scenario?"

"Ouros is just anti-social because of what Jacob did to her. He used to beat the three of us and he raped Ouros."

"That's disgusting," Atin responded. "The one who was entrusted to protect her was the one who violated her." The look on Atin's face said all that needed to be said on the subject. "People like that, honestly have no right to exist."

"Yeah, but they do and we have to deal with them," Seldneis commented as she regarded him. "You're not a window-licker.. are you?"

"I have no idea what that is.." Atin admitted. "But still Selendis. Mind if I make a suggestion?"

"Whats that?" Selendis inquired.

"Do nothing. Simply let everyone else decide what they are going to do about Torilla being alive and follow them." he paused a moment. "She's not your mother, you can't be expected to regard her as such."

"Yeah, you're right," Selendis responded before she heaved a sigh. "Come on back to bed, I want to do evil things to you." before she reached down and in one smooth motion, she peeled off her nightdress to reveal her nude form.

Atin did what she requested, he climbed back into bed as she mounted him.
