Ryuukei answered his comm system, with Nevanzi's voice coming over the headset, prompting Ryuukei to ask. "So how did your conversations with April go."

Nevanzi could not hide his annoyance. "The Federation, in it's cowardice, has decided not to make any attempts to liberate the Ferasians, instead, they have decided to put up economic sanctions against the Klingons, for all the good that is going to do."

Ryuukei didn't look the least bit surprised. "Yeah I'm not surprised, the federation is good at being cowardly. So can we expect any assistance."

Nevanzi nodded," Yeah, but mostly unofficial assistance. We can definitely expect humanitarian aid, also we have access to old federation ships that we can land on the planet and use as temporary housing. We are also getting access to federation mine technology, as well as the arming codes for multiple federation minefields. They can also supply us with infantry weapons, nothing major but it will be enough. Also they have agreed to supply us with long range transporters. Whats the progress on the Iconian gateway."

"Its ready," Ryuukei reported. "We now have the ability to set in the coordinates ourselves and hold portals open as long as we need too."

Nevanzi nodded. "Well that's good. "Alright, Once Torilla Unal gives us the Intel reports we need, I'll muster the fleet and we will go. However I want Ryazar's Shield to remain at Zekarria, as well as two of our cruisers and six escorts. And get the planetary defense grid up as quickly as possible."

Ryuukei nodded," Willdo, the last transport barge will be here in a few minutes and we will work on that immediately. Also just about all the Ferasians have been successfully offloaded to the planet, the last few ships will leave here within the hour."

Nevanzi acknowledged then closed the channel, prompting Ryuukei to get up and find Talon. It didn't take long as she was in the room where the Iconian gateway was located.

Talon was standing in front of the Iconian gateway, wearing a pair of jeans and a t-shirt with a combadge on her left breast. "This... is BULLSHIT!" she growled softly as she sighed.

Talon lifted her hands, in her right hand was a PADD as she began typing out various words, a sly smile appeared on her face as she typed. 'The gate was overloaded by a power test. Its now unusable and we can't do anything with it.' before she tapped 'send'.

She turned to the smaller being who was a foot and a half shorter then she herself was. "Ryuukei..." she sighed a second time. "Sorry... the gateway got slagged, one of my guys screwed up and will be disciplined severally for his screw up." she indicated the gate.

Ryuukei looked at the perfectly working gate while commenting," Well lets hope Rae Sloan is gullible enough to eat that information."

"She won't be." Talon responded evenly. "But then.. she is a careerist pig who's out for herself on the back of those of us who work for a living." she shrugged. "She won't like the fact that the gateway is a writeoff but Ensign John Ryan was the one who write it off."

Ryuukei wasn't really sure what she meant, "Well, either way, I intend to use this thing for a much more worthy purpose regardless. But once we have our report from Torilla Unal, that is when we will make our move. We'll use the gateway to transport a number of our people to Durandall, which is house Tekevek's main fleet reserve yards, get a bunch of our people onto their ships, shut down their planets defense grid and make off with as many Ferasians as we can."

Talon nodded. "Bold." she slowly smiled. "I know how to fly Klingon ships." she responded. "I'll talk to my crew and try to find as many volunteers as I can get."

Ryuukei shrugged. "Well if we do it right, the Klingons wont even have a clue it was us that pulled off this operations. Either way, I am happy to accept any volunteers we can get. As of right now our infiltration force consists of our entire Army detachment plus any Ferasian volunteers we can get to fly those ships."

Talon gently tapped her combadge. Yamaguchi to all Starfleet personnel aboard the Ryazar's Shield. I need to speak with all of you in ten minutes on the main hanger bay. I need everyone to be there." she knew she had just woken up about fifty people but she couldn't help this before she turned to Ryuukei. "I'd best go see my people." and with that she turned and went out the door.

Ten minutes later Talon was standing before her assembled crew, all of them wearing civilian clothing as they were all standing in a massive circle with her at the center. "Everyone present?"

There were nods all around. "Alright guys... Here's the situation, the Akurians and their forces are going off to save some slaves and do some damage to the Klingons in return. The Federation wants to remain out of this little dance for now... but these are Federation citizens the Klingons have enslaved and they would come for you were the situation be reversed."

Everyone listened in silence as Talon continued. "Now... Our allies are going to go and fight this war alone... against the Klingons who are neck deep in civil war anyway.... I'd like to help them with their efforts and frankly.... I'd feel better if I had you guys with me" she paused. "What I am asking is exceptionally dangerous." she sighed softly. "Its also against orders.." she commented before she paused to let that sink in as she exhaled then inhaled softly.

Talon then spoke the words that would surely doom her career and probably end up with her in jail. "I am asking for volunteers to help the Akurians liberate several billion slaves.... anyone brave enough and willing to attempt this, take one step-" she was stopped by one loud crunching sound as four hundred or so boots stepped forward once.

Talon smiled warmly at her crew. "Alright.." she turned and went back over to Ryuukei. "They'll do it... they will all help you. My entire crew is at your disposal."

Ryuukei nodded, then replied," Well, the big thing we will need is people to fly any Klingon ships we capture. Thats the big post important thing. Now we have people putting together a hacking program for Klingon computers so once we connect this program to their computers, it will automatically switch the computers language to federation standard, so knowing how to read Klingon is not a requirement."

"Sounds good... I will of course be putting my guys into simulators to see how useful they will be and see what they can do and how they may help... I expect most of them to be useful on your new base."

Ryuukei added. "Well Nevanzi will lay out his full plan for tomorrow, might as well have your people rest up for today, because it is about to be a long couple of months."

"Alright. I'll have my guys finish their various duties before I start reassigning people to this effort." Talon responded with a smile.

Ryuukei nodded and quietly left the room.
