One Trainwreck of a Lunchbreak

Mission: Mission 57: The Northern Lights
Location: Various Locations - USS Roanoke
Timeline: Midday, Jan 21st 2392

Teval, Hakaya, Racheal, Saki, Nuyari, takov and Savo entered the green dragon, with Teval looking over at Duval. "Hey Duval, got a table for 7."

Duval smiled. "Of course I do. Right this way..." as he stepped out from behind the counter and led them to one of the larger booths in the corner. "I have two. this one is the larger of the two." Duval added. "You're hostess will be along momentarily. Can I get you anything to drink?" he inquired as he produced a PADD.

Zara sitting at a long table with Lasky, enjoying a plate of lobster. She quickly looked away upon seeing Saki.

Teval thought about it for a moment, then decided as he took a seat," I'll take a strawberry milkshake."

"I'll take grape juice," Hakaya requested, while the three children requested different flavors of milkshakes.

"Sounds good.." Duval responded as he took their orders. "Your drinks will be coming with your hostess okay?" and with that he withdrew.

Meanwhile Rachael entered with Saki in tow. "So.. what do you want to drink Saki...?"

"Coke Cola."

"Okay." Rachael responded. "I didn't know you liked sugary drinks."

"Zara introduced me to it,." Saki responded, her tone was one of defiance.

"Ahh I see." Rachael responded as the said tot he hostess that she wanted a table for two. The Hostess led her in silence to a nearby table. "Can I get your drinks?" as she gently placed a menu before Rachael and then Saki.

"A coka cola please?" Saki requested first

"I'll have a almond milk please?" Rachael responded moments later

"Sounds good. I'll have them for you shortly." and with that she withdrew, leaving these two alone.

"So... What did you do in school yesterday?" Rachael inquired.

"Mom... You never seem to care.."

"Thats because I'm very busy learning my new skills to become an Engineer. I have schooling to do too sweetie."

"But you never have fun.." Saki complained. "You never seem to spend time with me and Sarah the way you used to."

"A lot has changed over the last couple of months... When things get sorted out then-"

"No!" Saki responded loudly.

Meanwhile Jake Yamaguchi was seated at a nearby table. Torilla was seated next ho him, as was Gabriel and his wife Savannah and they were enjoying a meal together when they heard a child shout.

Savannah turned her head. "Whos that?"

"Its Saki." Torilla answered her daughter in laws question with a soft sigh. "Whats going on over there?"

Gabriel regarded his niece. "Guys... Lets eat our meal. Then we can worry about Rachael and Saki... should we need to."

Saki definitely caught the attention of all Kurokuri present. Immediately Teval began thinking that this wasn't such a good idea, but he chose to keep his opinions to himself.

Rachael sighed. "Saki.." she hissed. "Behave yourself... We can discuss this outside where nobody is watching."

"Why... Zara at least knows how to have fun..."

Rachael growled. "Saki. Behave yourself and eat your meal... Or we won't come here again."

Saki opened her mouth as Rachael growled. "Silence... Shut your mouth little one and at least look like you know how to behave... you
have been nothing but a fucking disgrace to me, your dad and everyone else involved." she rose to her feet. "Lets go." and with that Rachael grabbed Saki's hand as she all but yanked Saki out of the chair and out the door.

Torilla watched in silence. "Well... I had a feeling that Saki was going to push Rachael too far... None of you guys were ever like that..."

Gabriel nodded. "Thats because we knew that if we didn't behave then we were gonna get it.... and rightfully so."

Duval sighed. "Unbelievable.."

Teval sighed and banged his head into the desk a couple of times, wondering how the hell this went badly so fast. Hakaya gave an annoyed comment. "Well, that went beautifully."

Torilla meanwhile regarded the empty space where Rachael was seated as the hostess came back with two drinks but nobody here to receive them. "Okay..." the said quietly before she turned went retreated back into the kitchen, drinks in hand.
