Kurokuri Make Great Plushies - Part 3

Mission: Mission 52: The Astral Winds
Location: Various Locations - USS Roanoke
Timeline: Dec 4th 2391, morning

Ryuukei walked into the Roanokes green dragon carrying a bunch of newly made Kurokuri plushies, as well as plushies of several other species. It didn't take him long to find Duval.

"Hay Jeffery, how are you doing today."

Duval was busy wiping a large beer tankard glass with a small towel. "So... Ryuukei.... Wait.... what are those?"

Ryuukei showed Duval one of the Plushe's of Teval, which was very well made, saying." Kurokuri plushies. Since you are the local businessmen in these parts, I'd figure I'd go to you first to see if you wanted to sell some."

Duval gently accepted a plushie of Teval. "Mmmmm... sure I'll see if I can see them." he commented. "you expect them to do poorly?" he inquired. "do you want a commission for them... or?." Duval inquired.

Ryuukei looked over noticing a half a dozen people already looking over curiously at the plushies, while Ryuukei replied, " well, a part of the profits will of course go to whomever the plushie is a plushie of, so be sure to record each type sold. Ryuukei then pulled out a padd and handed it to Duval, for me, just cost of the materials and labor plus 20 percent will suffice, the rest is for you."

"Okay. How much of a commission to their respective donars?" he regarded the smaller being.

Ryuukei gave a simple answer, "40% of the profits. So in the end that will be 40% of the profits for the donors, 20% to me, and 40% to you and your buisness."

"Okay. I'm good with that." Duval answered evenly. "I'll clear a space for them and make a decent display for them... they go on same tomorrow morning."

ryuukei nodded," alright, well these are example's that I will show the crew, so you will have a couple of boxes of them sent to you within the hour. If you need more just ask."

"Alright. I'll keep you informed as to how many I need." he paused as he smiled. "You want anything to drink?"

Ryuukei stopped and thought about it for a second," Got a vanilla cream milkshake."

"Sure." and with that he jotted it down before taking the order through the double doors behind him to the kitchen. A few minutes later out came a waitress with the order who delivered it to Ryuukei.

Ryuukei took the milkshake and started licking it happily, inadvertently getting a little bit of cream on his nose.

Duval smiled as he chuckled softly. "I'll keep you informed ok?"

Ryuukei nodded and walked out of the room, nest heading to the bridge. Walking onto the bridge, Ryuukei noticed Torilla was present, prompting him to say," Torilla, I see you made it back."

Torilla nodded "Yes... We jjust got back, quite literally ten minutes ago..."

Ryuukei nodded," well nice to see you made it back in one piece." Ryuukei then showed her the box of Kurokuri plushies, "Yeah just came to show Teval my handiwork."

Torilla merely raised an eyebrow. "I assume there is a story behind this?" the tall woman inquired. "I'm here for an assignment briefing and them I'm going to go and see my various children who are scattered around the battle group."

Ryuukei picked up one of the plushies, the one that looked like Teval," Well, people like to cuddle us so much, so I figured make some kurokuri plushies so we don't have to be picked up and cuddled quite so often."

Torilla could see the wisdom behind that so she nodded. "Fair enough." she smiled. "I will probably want one for myself.."

Ryuukei nodded," Want one?"

Torilla smiled. "Sure." she responded.

Ryuukei opened the box and said," So whom do you want, Teval, Hakaya, myself, Aerin, or some other random one."

Torilla breathed out slowly. "Mmmm.... surprise me..." she responded with a smile.

Ryuukei decided to pluck one of Teval and give it to Torilla," Here you go."

Yamaguchi accepted the plushie in silence. "Thanks" she responded. "You selling these?"

Ryuukei nodded," yep, they will be sold at the green dragons mainly, Duval will be handling most of the sales. But since you are a friend, that one is free."

"Ahh." Yamaguchi smiled as she held the plushie close to her. "Thanks.." she added.

Ryuukei nodded then walked over to the ready room where Lasky, Teval and Hakaya where present. Ryuukei, with a smile said to Teval," Hey Teval, Here you go." Handing him a plushie of Hakaya. He then gave one of Teval to Hakaya. Both of them had rather confused looks. Teval was the fist to ask, " And why are you giving these things to us."

Ryuukei smiled," Because I think you two need them."

hakaya commented," So if we decide to burn them."

Ryuukei gave Hakaya a look," How could you, well fine, if you will be like that then I'll just take it back."

Ryuukei went to take the plushie back, but a the last moment, for some strange reason, Hakaya decided she didn't want that, pulling the plushie close to her and hugging it and gave Ryuukei a short, sharp hiss, " Mine."

Ryuukei gave her a look," Oh, changed your mind, or you really want to burn it."

Hakaya looked at the plushie," It's too cute."

Ryuukei looked to Teval, whom also was finding himself getting strangely attached to the thing. He soon found himself admiring the workmanship, as it was quite well made.

"Teval, so are you going to sit there and tear it apart or do you want to give it back."

Teval gave Ryuukei a low growl, and instinctively hugged the plushie. Ryuukei smiled and looked at Lasky. "Well I think they like them."

Lasky regarded the entire event with amusement. "Well... what can I say?" he inquired. "Starfleet gets more and more weird.."

Ryuukei gave Lasky a puzzled look, but didn't get the opportunity to say anything as Hakaya grabbed him, and started cuddling with him. She then looked at the box and grabbed a plushie of Ryuukei," You know what, I think I'll take this one too. You are such a beautiful kurokuri after all."

Ryuukei gave Teval a look of, "Help." while Teval gave Ryuukei an unforgiving look. Hakaya, whom was now practically sitting on top of Ryuukei, commented," You know, this calls for a little revenge. This evening, I want you in my quarters, and you will come."

Ryuukei looked at Teval for help while Teval shook his head," Oh no, you earned this one Ryuukei. You will be there."

Ryuukei replied, But, but."

Teval smiled," Ah but Ryuukei, do remember, you still hold a warrant rank in starfleet, so I am ordering you to be there."

Ryuukei gave a shor growl," Oh fine." He didnt have a clue as to what Hakaay has in store for him, but he managed to mention," I still have other deliveries to make." Looking at Hakaya, "please get off."

Hakaya stood up, letting Ryuukei go and he promptly left the room.

Lasky raised an eyebrow while he regarded the situation before him. "Okay... where were we?"

Teval shrugged," I forgot."

Meanwhile as previously promised, Ryuukei showed up at Rykar's quarters, completely unsuspecting. The door opened and Ryuukei barely got a word as he was yanked in and the door shut behind him.
