Kurokuri Make Great Plushies - Part 2

Location: Various Locations - USS Roanoke
Timeline: Dec 2nd 2391

Ryuukei had easily managed to catch Aerin and get his measurements. Now his next mission was to take the measurements of every adorable furry on the ship. So his next stop was in Operations, where Rykar was present. Walking into Operations Ryuukei looked over at Rykar, with a smile, saying," Rykar, I need to take your measurements."

Rykar gave Ryuukei a dubious look," Why."

Ryuukei shrugged innocently," Oh um well, you see, like myself, you are quite adorable, sooo I was thinking, I want to take your measurements so I can make a plushie of you."

Rykar brain momentarily stopped working as she processes what Ryuukei was saying, so all she could respond with was. "What?"

James O'Halloran was in the process of handing a PADD to Rykar. "The figured you..." he coughed "asked for." as he snickered softly "Excuse me..." as he withdrew while fighting off laughter

Both Grek and Agar where in the room at the time as well. Agar smiled in amusement while Grek laughed, then commented," Awww, I want a Rykar plushie, come on chief, You would make a great plash.."

Rykar cut him off right there," Shut your mouth, Grek."

Rykar then looked up at Ryuukei, casually standing up and walking over to him. Getting very close to the kurokuri she gently brushed her tail uner his chin," And tell me, What do I get out of it in return."

Ryuukei was quick to notice that look in her eye, prompting him to respond, a little nervously," Well, Um' you will of course get a cut of the profits for every plushie of you sold."

Rykar stroked Ryuukeis chin with her finger," So tell me, will you have a plushie of yourself as well."

Ryuukei nodded," Of course."

Rykar smiled," Good, be sure to pass one my way then, and deliver it personally to my quarters, and we will have a deal."

Ryuukei completely missed the implications of Rykar's request, simply nodding and saying," O.K. so you agree then."

Rykar lifted her arms saying, " Measure away."

James O'Halloran smiled as he kept the laughter to a minimum, as he knew exactly what was coming for poor Ryuukei but he was determined not to get in the way of his superior's revenge. "Hey Rykar. I'm gonna take a few people and go clean up cargo bay four, it needs it... You okay with that?"

Rykar nodded," alright, your good to go."

As soon as Ryuukei finished his measurements, Rykar pointed at him, Remember, when you finish that plushie, personally deliver one of you to me at my quarters."

Ryuukei nodded, then Rykar sat back down at her desk while Ryuukei scurried off to his next destination. Minutes later he arrived in the Hangar Tower where Zarloos, Wukari, Cyrin and Niva where hanging out.

"Good, You are all in one location."

Cyrin looked up at Ryuukei commenting," Ryuukei, what are you doing up here."

Ryuukei shrugged innocently," Oh I am just taking the measurements of all the adorable looking furries on the ship, that way so I can make plushies of all of us."

Wukari, whom had brightspot sitting on her lap, and Pufftail near Zarloos, replied. "Uh, plushies of us. Why would we need those."

Zarloos gently petted Pufftail as he regarded Ryuukei with a dubious look. "Plushies... why are we catering to the weird and strange interests of other species?"

Cyrin also asked the same question," yeah thats what I am wondering."

So Ryuukei Decided to explain, "well I am pretty sure we have all experienced random humanoids wanting to pet us cuddle us and pick us up, because we are all very adorable in their eyes. Well unfortunately we dont all exactly have the time to be picked up and cuddled 24/7, so i figured that if I make plushies of all of us, we can give them something else thats cute and fluffy to cuddle that looks like us, but we don't have to be worried about being picked up and cuddled as often."

Wukari shrugged as she stroked a purring Brightspot. "Well I cant exactly Argue with that logic."

Zarloos simply shrugged. "True..." he paused. "Okay... why not?"

Ryuukei smiled, saying, "Thankyou."

He only took a few minutes per person, starting with Wukari, then moving on to Zarloos, then Niva, then Cyrin. While Ryuukei was measuring Cyrin he asked," So Ryuukei, those strange powers that Teval has, is that something every member of your species has."

Ryuukei paused for a moment, not expecting the Question," What energy manipulator abilities."

Cyrin nodded, "Yeah."

Ryuukei shook his head," Well its not something we are born with if that's what you are asking, nor is it something restricted to Kurokuri."

Ryuukei then looked at both Cyrin and Niva, saying," Wait a minute, your both Mazeri, you should know that energy manipulators come from implants, they aren't something people are born with."

Cyrin looked the other way," Yeah, Aerin said that as well, We came here when we where very young, we have no memory of the Mazeri."

Ryuukei looked at Cyrin curiously," Well wither way, fi you where born in the Mazeri Alliance, then that means you still hold an OISU citizenship, and you are actually free to receive energy manipulator implants as well."

Cyrin's ears perked up," Really, you mean even I can have those powers too."

Ryuukei nodded," Yep, the implants will work for just about any species."

Cyrin looked in a much better mood while Niva added," Well, thats an interesting twist."

Ryuukei nodded, then looked over at Wukari and Zarloos. He had noticed something familiar about their Scent before, but it was only now, when he got a closer look at them, that he recognized their species," Wait a minute, you two, your Geval Rinax's aren't you."

Zarloos blinked. "I have no idea.... I mean our species has no recorded history past about five thousand years ago.. we assumed it was during the great cataclysm..."

Ryuukei shrugged," Oh well, its a Mystery for another day." He then left the room and moved on.

His next stop was the green dragon, where he found Roevin and Lynn hanging out. Nearby was Soakanon, Nightstar, windspirit and Renhai. Further out was Leadfoot and Moni Nasao.

Ryuukei first aproached them and asked them the same question. Though Roevin and Lynn where a bit apprehensive at first, they both Agreed. Next Ryuukei went to Renhai, saying," Hi Renhai."

Renhai looked up at Ryuukei, then grabbed, him and pulled him close, cuddling with him," Ryuukei, my cutest Grandson, so what have you been up to."

Ryuukei purred, then replied," well everyone wants a Kurokuri to cuddle, so I figure I'll make plushies of Kurokuri and other similarly cute furry species."

Monai Nasao drained a mouthfull of her drink. "So... you heaard anythong about this... whatever is going on?" she inquired of Leadfoot.

Leadfoot shook his head," No not a clue."

Meanwhile at the other table, Windspirit commented, "Renhai, I didnt know you where a grandmother."

Renhai nodded as she rubbed ryuukei's ears," Yep, I'm a grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, Hell I've been a grandmother for thousands of years, so I probably have hundreds of descendants that I don't even know about."

Nightstar whom was in the middle of sipping his coffee, sprayed it in surprise with no warning, catching leadfoot with the edge of the spray.

Leadfoot, whom had miss swallowed a drink of his own, coughed and commented, "Do you mind."

Sokanon slowly blinked her eyes as she was away from the spray but that didn't save her as she swallowed a mouthfull of juice at the same time she inhailed so she suddenly found herself retching up a lung. "Uhh,.....Oh..... oh god.." she coughed and hacked before she calmed down enough to take deep breathes.

Renhai just smiled innocently," Well guys, dont worry, I have seen are more embarrasing reactions than this one."

Ryuukei looked at his grandmother commenting," You enjoy doing that do you."

Renhai maintained an innocent smile then changed the subject," So I take it you are here for my measurements as well."

Ryuukei nodded," if you dont mind."

Renhai stood up saying," Well, measure away."

Sokanon smiled. "Whats with all the plushies?"

Ryuukei shrugged as he took Renhai's measurements, "Well people are constantly wanting to cuddle and pet us Kurokuri so I figure making some plushies of us would reduce the distances of us being randomly picked up and cuddled."

"It might work..." Sokanon responded. "Or it night blow up quite spectacularly" Moni Nasao added.

Ryuukei surugged, not really thinking about what Moni was saying as he finished with Renhai. He then looked over at leadfoot, saying, Hmmm."

Leadfoot immediately shook his head, "No thank you not interested. pick on of the other snow leopard caitians."

Nasao chucked, which came out as a soft huffing sound where as Sokanon simply regarded the situation in amusement.

Ryuukei gave a purring sigh," Aw, your no fun. Oh Well."
