Ensign Tienn Iteela blinked her eyes open as she turned her head to find herself regarding the woman who had come over the last several months to become a major part of her life, she never saw herself falling for another woman but she wasn't about to object, as she studied Gyce's face while she slept.

Tienn gently brushed a locke of hair out of Gyce's face as she sighed softly. "This vacation was so worth it." she whispered softly almost to herself. The two of them had come down here to spend some quality time and had been here almost two weeks now, they would be here another week or so before going back to work.

"I admit... I don't get out much myself," Gyce admitted with a huge grin. "Never met someone that keeps me more interested in them, than my casework."

"Well... I aim to please.." Iteela responded softly. "You do work too much though..."

"I do, you just don't realize it," Gyce spoke with an easy smile. "My work is observing people, My Love. It's an instinct not easily ignored."

"Oh I never said stop working.." Tienn responded with a smile. "Because then you wouldn't be... well you." as she gently brushed some hair out of Gyce's face.

"Saki has taught me to put away some time for myself and others to have fun," Gyce smiled brightly. "Not for her, we'd not be together."

"I'll name my firstborn after her." Tienn responded. "She might be young but she's really intelligent.." her smile widened. "I'm so glad I got to know her... not as well as you... but well enough."

"She's your greatest champion," Gyce sighed and then frowned when she thought of having a family. "...could I have kids? After all the sons I have taken in my life?"

Iteela gently ran a hand over Gyce's shoulder. "You're being to hard on yourself.... Things had to get done to liberate our homeworld." she responded. "and yes... you can have kids... you sacrificed...and suffered."

"You did too," Gyce spoke with sympathy, for she know Iteela longed for her mother. "I am glad you wish to be happy with me, despite our losses."

"We've been through a lot since we met.." Iteela smiled. "Besides... you make me happy... I can actually appreciate a good laugh nowadays." the smaller Bajoran before she gently slid her arms around the other Bajoran. "I like what we have... its subtle and nobody spends time pointing at us... y'know.." she responded.

"I know you must want a more public appearance," Gyce spoke apologetically. "We can go to a nice restaurant if you like."

"Nah.." Iteela responded. "No need to telegraph our presence just yet." she added. "I don't see the need to share our relationship with the USS Glass Fish Bowl we laughingly call a Federation ship."

"Well I say we go get some fresh eggs from the market and I'll make us breakfast," Gyce spoke, kissed Iteela on the forehead, and looked her in the eyes once more. "That's if you're hungry."

"Sounds like a good idea.." Iteela responded. "and we'll both go... I am not letting you out of my sight... someone might... steal you."

"I'd never... I'll beam 'em with my cane first," Gyce winked to her girlfriend.

"I'll laugh at them and then tend to you." Iteela responded with a smile. "Its Oh Five Hundred... wanna get some more sleep before we get up to start the day?" she inquired. "or... have a shower and enjoy our new morning tradition..." her smile widened. "Yesterday... you were... amazing."

"I don't know if I have the physical stamina for constant mornings like that," Gyce noted bashfully.

Tienn smiled. "That's okay." she responded as she gently ran her fingers over Gyce's upper back. "There is more to our relationship then sex..." Tienn added before she gently drew Gyce closer to her. "Mmm... much better."

"It is," Gyce agreed as she engulfed Iteela in a hug. "It's nice, just sitting here."

Iteela gently hugged Gyce back. "Yeah... gentle and subtle.. This.. is why I wanna keep our relationship quiet.."

"I never liked stares from others," Gyce agreed.

Iteela gently kissed Gyce on the lips. "Personally... I'm okay lounging around on the sofa, cuddling.." she paused. "sometimes sex is overrated."

"I say we sleep in a bit more then," Gyce smiled, content in the moment.

"Sounds good to me." Iteela gently held Gyce close to her. "Sex isn't everything... but it sure is enjoyable."

"Sleep well, My Love," Gyce sighed, then kissed Iteela on the forehead.

Iteela responded by kidding Gyce on the lips. "I will always be here..." she responded as she closed her eyes. "safe... in your arms.."

Gyce smiled brightly as she reached for her lamp and turned the lights off so she could rest with her girlfriend.

Iteela smiled as she enjoyed the company of her girlfriend, even if the two of them were lying around doing nothing. "Mmm.." Tienn gently drew Gyce into her arms. "Much better.." she said quietly.

"Sleep well My Love," Gyce whispered before she closed her eyes for more sleep.

Tienn smiled as she mumbled. "Sleep my love..."
