Mission: Mission 38: Last One Out, Get the Lights
Location: Various Locations - USS Tranquility
Timeline: 1800Hrs - July 23rd, 2391

Rachael Yamaguchi went down the hall as she reached her destination as she tapped the door chime as Sarah answered it. "Hey sweetie, is your dad about?" as she regarded the seven year old.

"Yeah. Danny needed to come home early from daycare cause the room got too cold," Sarah explained and opened the door.

Ennis was in the middle of the sitting room, playing with Danny and a pile of plastic balls.

Rachael smiled as she gently gave Sarah a hug. "Its good to be home... even if it is only for a few days.." as she came in and placed her duffel next to the door. "Hey Ennis. Hows things?" she greeted him.

"Great, Love." He picked Danny up and walked over to greet Rachael. A pop-kiss on the cheek to start. "Warrant school is next, and then you get your combat wings!"

Rachael smiled up at Ennis. "Its good to be home.... you okay with me bunking here?" she inquired to be polite. "I need a favor from you." she paused. "Could you look after Saki for me?" she inquired. "she's having issues fitting in on that flying scrapheap.." she slowly smiled. "did I say that last out loud?"

"If Saki wants me as her primary, while you are at school, then I would love to have her," Ennis promised as he kissed her on the back of the hand. "Bunk here as long as you like, in the mean time."

Rachael smiled. "That sounds wonderful..." as she turned to Daniel. "and hows the second guy in my life doing these days?" as she gently brushed the hair out of his eyes.

"Better. Doctor Siaxx diagnosed the virus that made him sick and he just finished his last round of antibiotics a week ago," Ennis answered with a huge grin. "Saki? Sarah" You two ladies mind clearing the table so we can prep dinner soon?"

Saki who was reading a PADD, oblivious to the outside word. "Wait...huh.. what?" the nine year old asked. "Mommy!!" as she greeted her mother with a big hug.

Rachael gently hugged Saki. "How long have you been here?"

"Well... this really is a good book... you should read it mom." Saki grinned at Rachael. "Happy Potter and the Philosopher's Stone." she added as she looked at Ennis. "Set for five?" she inquired.

"Gyce sent Saki over after you parted," Ennis explained, then turned to Saki. "Five, yes."

"We missed you, Rachael." Sarah admitted as she helped Saki out.

"I missed you guys too." Rachael responded with a smile. "Are you two behaving?" she asked with a knowing smile.

"Mostly... Tane is transferring out a lot of the bullies' parents after she fixes the colony," Sarah spoke happily. "Gyce is a nice teacher, but I miss the science trips we took in school, to the science labs."

"Nice... sounds like the skipper is on top of things..." Rachael paused. "Gyce is also a full time department head and she's looking after her own guys too.... how she finds time for everything, I don't know."

"She has cameras in the study room. Bio-genetically coded. So the computer will tell her if any of us leave the study room, if she has to go somewhere," Sarah spoke enthusiastically. "She's got all sorts of cool gadgets from SCIS she plays with."

"Sounds like Gyce thought of everything." Rachael responded.

"It's more that she don't trust Saki to stay put," Sarah giggled. "Saki likes to explore too much."

"Oh really?" Rachael responded with a soft chuckle. "I should have known..."

Saki regarded Sarah. "I can hear you.... you know that right?"

Rachael's grin widened. "Oh she knows Saki... that's why she said it."

"It's funny," Sarah giggled.

"Oh?" Ennis interjected.

"Well Saki likes to explore in the jeffries tubes a lot and Gyce wanted to put a stop to it," Sarah snickered.

"Saki... how well do you know the inside of Roanoke's jeffres tubes now?"

"I can get anywhere on that ship in time." Saki responded. "I have my own special hiding places... and I find all sorts of things.."

"Things?" Rachael inquired.

"Yeah... lost tricorders or PADDs. One of them was footage taken from the brawl... I assume at Phoenix and Siaxx's wedding."

"I missed that event... I am not happy about that." Rachael admitted.

"It's a very long story," Ennis spoke in a way that meant they would talk later.

Rachael smiled. "Okay." as she watched the two girls quickly and efficiently set the table as she turned to Ennis. "Do you think we can find a babysitter on short notice?" she inquired. "Saki... what do you go with the stuff you find?"

"I stockpile the stuff at one of my hiding spots.."

Rachael raised an eyebrow. "Okay... tomorrow... you and I are going to go and recover all of it...then I'm going to go and see security... see what needs to be dealt with."

"Let's try not to pick things up that aren't yours anymore, ok Saki?" Ennis asked to the girl.

Saki protested. "But the were just lying there... Like trash."

"Had you returned it as soon as you found it... I doubt anyone would mind but you kept it for yourself Saki.... That's theft... and that's a very bad thing.." Rachael paused. "We'll deal with it another time... first though... finish setting the table so we can make dinner."

"Anything you been craving that you'd love for me to make, Lass?" Ennis asked to Rachael.

Rachael smiled. "Mmmm.... surprise me." she responded.

"Targ sirloin and whole potatoes... Maybe some Parmesan-sprinkled baby spinach," Ennis suggested as he engulfed Rachael in a hug from behind.

Rachael smiled as she peered up at him, an impish smile on her face. "and how pray tell... did you get Targ sirloin?" she inquired.

"I did, actually." Ennis whispered in her ear, "I have some really nice friends here."

Rachael almost purred. "Mmm... Now who's teasing whom?" she inquired softly with a smile. "I've missed you." she added quietly.

"I missed you too," Ennis agreed, and kissed her a little longer this time upon the lips.

Rachael smiled as she took a moment to relish the kiss. "Mmm..." she responded. "So... how did you get Targ sirloin.... that stuff is a delicacy on the Klingon homeworld.." as she inquired, she arched her back and reached with both hands to lock them around his neck as she looked up at him. "I've missed being home." she said softly.

Saki meanwhile finished setting the table as she watched her mother interact with Ennis, a sigh escaping her lips. "Hey mom... Zara is dating Fives."

Rachael blinked. "What!" she sounded like she didn't believe it.

"Yep... I was able to make Fives see reason and Zara to work up the guts to ask him out."

"How did you manage that?" Rachael turned from Ennis to her daughter. "you believe this?"

"She's quite the matchmaker," Ennis laughed as he ruffled Saki's hair.

Rachael smiled. "So... thats Fives and the skipper.... who else?"

"Iteela and Gyce, my finest work."

"Not a bad outlet for when the lass gets bored," Ennis winked to Rachael.

"Tell me about it." Rachael sighed in amusement. "Gyce and Tienn ... I did not see that coming."

"They've been keeping it on the down low, it looks like," Ennis suggested.

"Well... I honestly hope they make it work... too much negative stuff around here." Rachael responded as she sighed. "Think we can find a babysitter on short notice?" as she gave Ennis a look.

"Olmos loves watching the kids... bit like having grandkids, for her," Ennis pointed out with an eager grin.

"Works for me." Rachael responded with a smile. "You and I can catch up later." as she gave Ennis a rather sultry smile.

"It would be my pleasure to bed you, My Lady," Ennis offered as she pop-kissed her on the cheek.

"I look forward to being bedded." Rachael responded with a smile. "Its been awhile my Lord."

Ennis did not think their time together would come quick enough with her eager statement. He loved and missed her so much.

Rachael smiled, as she could hear him thinking it. "I'm gonna go unpack... want me to contact Captain Olmos or do you wanna do it?"

"I can. You've had a busy day," Ennis offered willingly.

"Alright...I'm going to go and take a shower and change while you handle dinner... I won't be too long." Rachael responded, before she turned and took her leave. She smiled as she could almost hear Ennis looking at her ass as she closed the door behind her before sitting on the bed. "I need a vacation."

Ennis just grinned to himself as he began to do the food prep.

Rachael peeled off her clothing as she went into the bathroom, turning on the water before she came back and locked the door, she didn't want one of the girls coming in on her as she closed the door.
