Commander Torilla Yamaguchi walked into sickbay as she was here to visit Phoenix when she spotted the only feline being who could count as a oversized housecat passing by.

Windspirit looked up at Torilla, saying, "Hey Torilla, what is it."

"I'm just dropping by to see Phoenix and see how she's doing.." she admitted. "How are yo doing today Windspirit?"

"I'm fine, Phoenix and Ayrissa are over in the back corner bed."

"Thank you" Torilla smiled from the feline before she moved over to the other woman. "Hey Phoenix."

Siaxx was sitting nearby as she blinked her eyes opened. "Mmm... hey Torilla."

Torilla gently placed her hand gently on the other womans shoulder. "Hey... Phoenix... why don't you go on home, get a decent meal and have a good nights rest... I'll watch her... and if anything happens... I promise.. I'll call you okay?" Torilla smiled gently.

"I aint abandonin' 'er, Tory," Phoenix spoke groggily. "I want 'her ta know I aint givin' up this time."

"You're not abandoning anyone Jill." Torilla responded. "But you won't be able to help her if you're exhausted yourself... Besides, she won't be alone.. and neither will you." Torilla nodded to Siaxx who yawned softly. "Mmm..."

The door opened as Commander Sohnaxx Dvald entered. "Ah, hello ladies... I see you're up." she addressed Phoenix. "I need to change the sheets for the bed... would you guys mind giving me the room for five minutes so we can tend to it?"

"Very well," Phoenix nodded, then yawned before she kissed Aryssa on the forehead before she grabbed her wife's hand.

Siaxx smiled as she was half hauled out of her chair. "I'd love to stay and chat but.." as she disappeared out the door behind Phoenix.

Torilla chuckled as she turned to the smaller Bolian who simply shook her head while trying not to laugh. "Well... since you're rested. help me with this."

Torilla gently assisted the Bolian woman who looked very much like Siaxx move Aryssa as she heard the teenager start to stir. "You have to be kidding me.... I have to call Phoenix back.."

Sohnaxx shook her head. "No... not yet.. she's just sleeping.. which is an excellent sign." and with that she quickly stripped the sheets from the bed which looked rumpled.

Torilla watched as the Bolian woman quickly made the bed before they moved Aryssa back to it, Torilla sat down beside her bed, she could faintly smell the aroma of Siaxx's deodorant.

Torilla regarded the teenager as she woke up. "Afternoon sleeping beauty." she commented. "for he cried out in a loud voice... Lazarus come forth.... and he did indeed arise from the grave.."

Aryssa rubbed her temples very stiffly. Her eyes expressed the most emotion. Confusion and exhaustion mostly. When she spotted Torilla and Siaxx, instantly she felt regret as a haze of past events started to come back to her. How did she start to apologise?

You don't, Aryssa told herself with shame as she looked at her hands.

Sohnaxx smiled. "I will leave you ladies to chat." and with that the smaller then average Bolian turned and departed, closing the door behind her.

Torilla regarded Aryssa as she blinked slowly. "Aryssa. How are you feeling?" she inquired as she made herself comfortable. "Phoenix and Siaxx are off taking care of a few things, eating a meal I hope." she paused. "She has been sitting in here since you collapsed at the reception.. which by the way... was ten days ago."

"I just..." Aryssa, like her birth mother, stopped herself when she heard her voice crack. Then she just began to cry. She could not stop it.

Torilla gently comforted the teenager. "Jill will be back shortly." as she considered exactly how to inform Siaxx now as she lifted a PADD before she quickly jotted a note for Siaxx. 'Aryssa is awake. At your leisure Noble Six.'

"I just..." Aryssa paused to gather her thoughts, then dried her red eyes. "I just wanted to take the pain away... I'm sorry."

"Aryssa... tell me one thing.." Torilla inquired gently. "Why didn't you tell me?" she inquired. "did you do any of your drugs in my home?"

"I didn' want ya ta be mad at me," Aryssa sniffed as she answered both questions, "so I found some places ta go where no one would see me."

"Be mad at you.... Aryssa. You have needs too, Phoenix simply made the best of a bad situation... she never wanted to raise the twins but she did what she had to do... Thats not a slight against you..." Torilla sighed. "Had Jake and I known... we would have done something sooner.." she paused. "but... you've been in a coma for the better part of a week."

"I only smoked two from 'at batch though," Aryssa remarked with confusion. "...Messed up bad."

"Yeah..." Torilla sighed softly. "You will need some serious therapy after this incident but I don't know how effective that will be because I don't your medical status..."

Aryssa hugged Torilla tightly and just cried in her arms. That was when Phoenix and Siaxx had arrived. Phoenix, ironically, did not look jealous either. Instead, she became instantly supportive as she sat on the bed and pat Aryssa on the back.

"We all love ya, Aryssa." Phoenix spoke very motherly. "No matter what ya see us all as, we'll love ya and help ya."

Siaxx simply sat down nearby. "Its good to see you awake Aryssa, we'll deal with this... together."

Torilla regarded Phoenix as she smiled at her. "But you... need to go to rehab."

"I'm really sorry," Aryssa sniffed as she looked to all three women.

"I've made mistakes too, Kid." Phoenix gave Aryssa a supportive hug once more. "And I do want to be your mom... It's just I was twelve ways fucked before and I was afraid of doing to you what I once did to your stepmom."

"Siaxx forgave you," Aryssa pointed out as she took a tissue from her dresser.

"She has... But she could have died. And you deserved a better, safer environment with your grandparents." Phoenix hugged Aryssa tighter with tears streaming down her face. "...I wanted to protect you. And I'm sorry those good intentions hurt you."

Siaxx gently placed her hand on Phoenix's shoulder. "But we're all here now..." she raised an eyebrow. "Don't worry about ancient history.. Jill and I resolved that matter between us long ago... " she smiled.

Torilla smiled as she gently moved away so Phoenix would sit next to her daughter.

"Will you let us help you?" Phoenix gently prodded. Aryssa gently nodded in agreement. "Good... When they clear ya. You're movin' back in with Siaxx an' me. An' we'll look into a good rehab program an' counselor for ya."

Aryssa then hugged Siaxx, more as an apology. For Aryssa had not always been polite to Phoenix's wife.

Siaxx gently hugged her back, she seemed hesitant as she wasn't sure of what she was getting a hug but she was not about to question it. "Yeah. we'll make it work..." she paused. "I heard you like cooking?" Siaxx inquired. "Maybe you could teach me the finer points... I keep burning stuff.."

"You either don' have enough lubrication or ya leavin' it too long," Aryssa answered quickly as she rubbed her red eyes. Phoenix poured a glass of water for her daughter and helped Aryssa drink.

"You learn 'at from Tory?" Phoenix asked with true curiosity. This was a far better hobby than holosports.

"Tory taught me lots... but I also sneak into tha kitchens after I give Tane her coffee in tha mornin'... Line chefs teach me stuff like makin' cinnamon rolls."

Torilla smiled as she held her silence. "The Chef did ask. I gave him permission." she added quietly.

"If you do well with rehab, an' really work on your readin' skills, we'll talk 'bout gettin' ya an apprenticeship with one of tha chefs... Deal?"

"...You mean you don' want me ta be a pilot?" Aryssa asked skeptically.

"I want ya ta get better, first. An' after that, whatever you want in a career, I will support ya." Phoenix held her pinkie finger out for Aryssa to hook to with hers. "Deal?"

Aryssa hooked on and nodded, "Deal... So am I still grounded?"

"Yeah... But we're all in tha penalty box," Phoenix admitted with a smile. "I aint Mom... But I aim ta be a mom ta ya."

Siaxx sat nearby as she watched the mother and daughter, hopefully start to heal the rifts between them as she held her silence.

Torilla and Phoenix now had more or less swapped seats as Siaxx regarded Torilla. "How much did you teach her?"

"About cooking or baking, cooking... she's a quick study, better then all of my children combined... and as for baking, she never lets me bake anything anymore. She's too much shooing me out of the kitchen and she does a hell of a job with whatever she's baking." Torilla explained quietly.

"I asked to be notified when Miss Sullivan woke up," Gyce spoke respectfully from the doorway. "If your daughter is up for it, I'd like to question her about the drug ring."

Phoenix looked to Gyce. Something of a jealous hatred was in the pilot's eyes, but she bit her tongue for whatever reason and nodded, "Tomorrow... Her family needs to settle her living arrangements first."

"Aye Colonel," Gyce nodded respectfully and left just as quietly.

Torilla raised an eyebrow but she let it go as Siaxx sat back, before gently closing her eyes, clearly the small Bolian was exhausted, Torilla looked at Siaxx. "You okay?"

"Not slept in.... what time is it?" Siaxx asked softly, her voice slurred by exhaustion.

"Yeah..." Torilla responded. "Fair enough." as she gently slid an arm around the small Bolian's shoulders as Siaxx gently fell asleep in Torilla's arms.

"I'll call a nurse ta get ya some food. Then we'll nap while you eat, if 'at's ok," Phoenix suggested gently with Aryssa.

"Yeah," Aryssa agreed, and grinned when she saw Phoenix try to hide a yawn.

Torilla gently picked up Siaxx before gently placing her on her lap, clearly she had done this a few times before for her children. "Aryssa, I recommend some soup... you've been out of it for awhile so don't go too hard with your food okay?"
