Mission: Mission 100: I'm Going to Ruin Somebody's Day
Location: Various Locations - Starbase Vanguard / Utgarde IV
Timeline: 1000Hrs - July 12th, 2393

Staff Master Chief Petty Officer Stephen McKnight sighed as he placed another PADD onto the 'done' pile of work he had completed and he shifted his gaze to regard the large pile he still had to get done today. "I hate paperwork," he muttered aloud as he sat back in his chair, he felt tired suddenly so he lifted both his hands to his forehead, while gently wiping away the frustration that had accumulated there.

Orthos often found the paperwork of his job to be a boring exercise of his time but he knew it had to be done regardless of his own personal feelings, he turned and tapped the display on his desk once as he realized what his issue was, the lack of any good music so he decided to fix that issue before he started his next PADD.

Orthos ran a finger over his jawline as he considered it. As he quickly began looking through the music database of several worlds, he needed to find something quick when he selected something from the nineteen-nineties, an interesting time for music on Earth when suddenly his aide opened a comline to Orthos. "Ummm Master Chief, your wife is here, she wants to speak to you and she sounds upset." James Rabb sounded upset which meant something bad was going down and Orthos needed to deal with this quickly.

"Okay, send her in. I'll see Daisy now." Orthos commented he knew this would be important as Daisy wouldn't be bothering him unless it was.

The door opened and in stalked Daisy, she was wearing her uniform as she glared daggers at him. "SoH!" she snarled before the translator kicked in "YOU!" before there was a momentary pause. "divorce yu' jIH Hoch qoH, failure 'ej pujwI'" which the translator turned into "I demand a divorce as you are a fool, a failure, and a weakling."

Orthos was stunned. "What are you talking about Daisy?." he inquired. "Have you lost your mind?"

"jIHvaD DaHar qoH loDnal. divorce pagh pIHoH jIH." came the rapid-fire response in Klingon, before the translator turned it into. "do you think me a fool husband. I was a divorce or I will kill you."

Orthos suddenly leaped to his feet as his temper burned to nothing and fused white hot as he melted down. "How dare you start with me, get the fuck out of my office!"

Daisy laughed at him as she slapped a PADD down on the desk before she snatched it back up again and quickly departed how office while laughing at him.

Orthos slowly sat back down into his chair as he shook his head. "What the fuck was that?" he asked aloud, the walls deigned him unworthy of an answer, he was still in an angry mood, never had any of his exchanges with his wife ever gotten him this angry even with that incident on the USS Roanoke when he had gotten into Daisy's face about Olga Vall being let out of the brig for assaulting and beating the crap out of two Starfleet security guards.

He rose to his feet before he went out of his office, his paperwork had been forgotten, banished to the furthest corners of his mind by the standard quantum missile that had just been detonated inside his skull. He growled softly as he walked past his yeoman. "James, look after my paperwork will ya please?"

"Uhh sure boss," Rabb answered in a meek tone of voice as he was glad it wasn't him that had angered the Master Chief.

Orthos went down the hallway, his next stop was tactical as he needed to see one of their guys, he was looking for Daisy's twin as he wanted to eliminate her as a suspect in this little drama. He arrived at his destination minutes later as he nodded to one of the officers. "Hey, Mick. Got a moment.?" Orthos asked his friend. Petty Officer second class Mick Johnson.

"Sure Master Chief, What's up?" Johnson asked with a smile.

"Is Ilea around?" Orthis inquired in a flat level tone.

"Yeah." The Petty Officer second class answered. A confused look on his face. "What's wrong?"

"I just had a recent encounter with my wife that didn't seem right. I want to make sure it wasn't Ilea fucking with me." Orthos responded.

"Okay, let me go check on her whereabouts." and the two men went their seperate ways, Mick went over to one of the aides. "Has Ilea left any time recently?"

"Nope. She's been counting missiles all morning." the other man answered. "Wy... is there an issue?"

"Nah. thanks." and with that Johnson came back to Orthos. "Nope, she's not left all day."

"Okay, thank you." and with that, Orthos turned and departed.
