Mission: Mission 33: Losing the Peace
Location: Various Locations - USS Roanoke
Timeline: 1500Hrs - June 17th, 2391

Chief Petty Officer Toshnarr had all but taken over the care of Frost Storm ever since she was beamed over to the USS Roanoke from the Toronto six hours earlier.

Toshnarr had made himself comfortable in a chair while he lightly dozed as her bedside while she slept off whatever it was she was dealing with, his eyes snapped open as he heard her waking up.

"Ryi..." Toshnarr rumbled as she looked like she was in distress while having a nightmare, he gently grasped her shoulders to try and wake her when she threw her best punch at him, it connected with the end of his snout.

The force of the impact snapped his head back as he groaned loudly in pain. "Ryi...." he whimpered as he saw her waking up.

Taffy looked a little confused. "Toshnarr? Are you alright?"

"You hit me." he responded as he produced his medkit while Ensign Tienn Iteela appeared. "Easy big guy, let me tend to that..." she smiled. "So... he stays at your bedside all night and you hit him for it." she sighed. "Yeah... broken alright.. Ryi, what did you hit him with?"

"Her fist... and it was an accident.... Tienn, stop picking on her or.... I will remove a limb from you." Toshnarr growled ever so softly but there was no mistaking the fury in his tone.

"Err... right, right.. gotcha." and with that she went to work, moments later she was done before beating a hasty retreat, Toshnarr turned to the Andorian. "You seemed to be in distress... is this way of saying you missed me?" he inquired.

"Sorry for hitting you." Taffy stated, her voice a little vacant. "I was just dreaming about my time on the Romulan ship. They did, " Taffy paused as she shuddered. " ... awful things to us. I wish that the Hobus supernova wiped out their entire wretched civilization."

Toshnarr regarded her with a soft snort before he gently lifted a chocolate bar. "Its good to see you Ryi and this... is for you." with that, he gently placed the chocolate bar into her hand. "I replicated this earlier."

"Aw, thank you Big Guy." Taffy told the Gorn as she took the candy bar. "My appetite really hasn't returned but I'll eat chocolate."

"When you arived, you were still fighting off whatever they had put in your system... it knocked you around pretty good." Toshnarr explained.
"The good news is that physically, you're going to be fine... the bad news is that you still went through an incredible trauma, both physical and mental... so you're going to be in here... with me for a little while... I've been assigned as your nurse."

"I'm humbled," Taffy replied. "I can't explain how much this means to me."

Toshnarr regarded her as he snorted gently. "I know... Thats why I asked Siaxx for the duty, she thought I needed a ladies touch." he explained. "tonight, you'll be staying here."

Taffy giggled. "I'm sorry Toshnarr. It is just the visual of you with a ladies touch that made me laugh."

"Yes... well" Toshnarr suddenly turned a bright shade of green. "Alas Ryi, you are not Gorn and you are my paitent, not my mate... " he rumbled. "I do need to find me a Gorn mate... but first things first, I'm going to assist you in your recovery.... if you don't want to talk about what happened.... I won't make you... but I will be here for you and I will listen.... " he paused. "I sometimes moonlight as a counselor."
