Mission:
Mission 33: Losing the Peace
Location: Various Locations - Romulan Ship
Timeline: 1300Hrs - May 28th, 2391
Walking into the commanders office, the romulan chief inteerogater handed her commander a Padd, "Comander, I have figured out the problem with the mind probes on the kurokuri."
The comander picked up the padd, and replied," Well, whats the problem."
"Its a relatively simple one, The interrogator explained, " The species is different enough from most humanoids, and different enough from other feline species, that our mind probes don't have the ability to read them. However it is simply due to the fact that since this is our first time holding a member of their species, no one has ever attempted to adjust the probes to compensate."
"How long will it take to modify the probes," The commander asked coldly."
The interrogator replied in a concise manner, " No more than a week or two, I just need to analyze their neural patterns a couple of times, and then do some adjustments on the probes."
The commander nodded," Very well, However we will be transferring them to a different ship soon, so you will be doing your work there. Your Dismissed."
The interrogator didn't say another word as she walked out of the room.
Teval had managed to lose track of how long they had been in romulan captivity. He guessed it was about 2 days, but it felt so much longer. Their captors didn't really do anything to outright torment them, but they certainly weren't nice either. Teval looked over at his sibling, whom was already looking extremely nervous and twitchy. She didn't take to captivity like this very well, not after their imprisonment by the cardassians.
It didn't help matters that the romulans did not bother to feed their prisoners, or give them water. Dehydration was really starting to set in.
"Is it my or do we really need some water?" Frost Storm asked in a raspy voice. She didn't move from the place she had on the floor. She had to urinate but didn't dare because she had no idea when she could re-hydrate.
Teval nodded," Yeah, the romulans are denying us water to weaken us."
"Why?" She asked but didn't expect an answer. "What more could they want from us?"
Teval couldn't think of an answer. It didn't help that the romulans had the temperature set fairly high. Though thanks to the fact that neither him nor Hakaya actually sweat, they didn't lose water as fast. But their fur did not help at all in this situation.
Kukai looked at Teval saying, " You where a Starfleet intelligence field agent weren't you."
Teval gave Kuaki a look, " Yeah, I'm not exactly proud of it, what of it."
Kukai gave off a small smile," So whats your plan on getting us out of here."
Teval rolled his eyes in annoyance, and replied sarcastically " Yeah sure, I have a foolproof plan that would get us out of here, Its called doing nothing."
Kukai let off a sigh, " Great, so that it,huh, your just going to give up."
Teval simply leaned back and stared at the ceiling," Given the circumstances, giving up is about all I can do."
Kukai continued to press," Well, haven't you been in this situation before, with the cardassians."
Teval had to hold himself back from snapping at her, " Yeah, and that is precisely the reason why I am not a field agent anymore. With what those spoonheads did to us, we spent over a year in rehab undergoing psychological evaluation and nothing but endless, retarded counseling sessions."
Teval then looked back up at the ceiling added," Well, its not like I really miss the job anyway, you couldn't pay me to go back." He then looked over at his sibling, whom looked extremely shaky. He then moved over to hakaya, wrapped his arm around her, and pulled her close to him.
Teval was thankful for one thing in this situation, and that was that the romulans had severely overestimated the siblings breaking point. But then again, being locked in such a small cell like a caged animal was torture enough for Teval.
The noise of the door opening alerted Teval to a group of romulans walking in, led by the interrogator. She pointed at the two Kurokuri," These two first."
The forcefield opened and though Teval and Hakaya made an attempt to fight, it was of little use as they where subdued then carried out by two large romulan guards. The force field closed as they left.
Frosty tried to attack the Romulan guards. It was then that three Reman commandos entered and started to work over Frosty. The three had smiles on their face as the beat the Andorian to the floor.
Teval's head was throbbing from the hit that he took on the head. Both he and his sister had their hands and feet cuffed as the Romulan carrying Teval had him draped over the guy's shoulders. Hakaya was being carried in a similar manner. The two where carried into a room that Teval recognized as a transporter room. The romulans wasted no time getting on the transporter padd's and Teval felt the familiar feeling of the transporter beam.
Soon after being beamed to where ever they where beamed to, Teval and Hakaya where soon carried off in separate directions. The Romulans carrying Teval too him to a room that he was being carried into some kind of surgical room, and immediately he started to panic. The romulans ignored his struggling as they slammed him hard into the biobed, and then they proceeded to strap him to the table.
Hakaya meanwhile got carried off into another vary dark room, and before she could react, she got thrown into a small metal box, barely large enough to fit her inside. The lid of the box was then closed and locked in on her, with the only light coming in, was from two small breathing holes in the top. Immediately she began to panic, as she desperately scratched the side of the box with her claws, attemting in vain to claw her way out.
Back on the other romulan ship, Eyes and Norsvin where the next ones to be separated from the group.
Frosty wanted to attack but the three Remans in the cell started to beat on her again. She could hear them cackling as they wailed on her.
A female Sub Commander entered the cell with several more commandos. "Take these three to the hanger bay. I want them on a transport to the IRV Vulokar. Don't be gentle with them. They are not worth much."
The Remans gathered up the pilots and brutally forced them down to the hanger bay.
