Mission: Mission 32: Tales of Tarod
Location: Various Locations - USS Roanoke
Timeline: 1300Hrs - April 25th, 2391

"Well, have you calmed down a bit," Teval asked Hakaya as she walked into the room."

Hakaya nodded," Somewhat, But I still want these bastards to pay."

Teval sighed as he looked at Silversnow," So do I, but you know as well as I do that protecting Seykai comes first."

Hakaya gently petted Silversnow, whom purred softly, "So how is he."

Teval looked at the closed bedroom door," Well, He hasn't come out in a while so I am not really sure."

Hakaya opened the door, only to find the bed was empty. She looked around the room quickly but found he wasn't present. "Teval, Seykai is not here."

Teval got up from the couch rather quickly and looked around, "Well, I didn't see him leave."

Both Kurokuri searched the whole quarters rather thoroughly, but found no sign of him. Annoyed, Teval went to the compute terminal and began to look for Kurokuri lifesigns. he knew where his and Hakaya's children where, and where Aerin and Karryn where, so he was able to find Seykai rather quickly, whom was currently sitting alone in a jefferis tube. Teval shook his head in annoyance, "Well I found him, he's just wandered off."

Both of them left to go look for Seykai.

Meanwhile Seykai had dozed off in his hiding spot, when suddenly a large hand came out of nowhere and grabbed him by the throat. He tried to push it off, but noticed the cruel, malicious eyes of Keith thatcher. "I'm gonna make you pay you little pussy."

Weber, meanwhile grabbed Seykai's right arm and pinned it to the ground, while thatcher commented," First, I take your little claws."

Seykai managed to land a kick in thatchers groin, but all it did was make him angrier, as he pulled out an axe, and brought it down on Seykai's wrist, cutting deep. Several more clumsy blows from thatcher, managed to sever Seykai's right hand, causing him to scream loudly each time.

Thatcher cruelly looked down as the sobbing kurokuri, he then pulled out a knife and tried to cut into Seykai's throat, only to find that the knife wouldn't penetrate past his skin. Weber asked, Whats the matter, You too weak."

Frustrated, thatcher commented, No, there is something in there, I cant cut through. Frustrated, thatcher then brought the knife down on seykai's chest, only for the weapon to glance off, causing only a light nick. Thatcher looked at the knife, which now had a broken tip. "What the hell."

Thatcher looked down at the kurokuri, saying," Fine, lets see howwell your stomach is armored, and he drove the knife into Sekyai's gut, where it did penetrate, thatcher pulled out the knife and made for another stab when a phaser beam struck him in the back. Weber had barely enough time to see gunther approach with phaser in hand before he took a shot square in the chest.

Gunther wasted no time, tapping his combadge," Medical emergeny, beam Seykai Ferian and myself directly to sickbay, and beam both Keith Thatcher and Pat weber directly to the brig, under charges of attempted murder.

Windspirit was the first one to respond, and upon seeing Seykai missing a hand and with a badly bleeding knife wound to the gut, she wasted no time with triage, focused on trying to stop the bleeding.

Siaxx came out of her office as Sokanon went to assist with the medical emergency, Tienn as a nurse was right behind her. "What are we looking at?" Siaxx inquired.

"Knife wound to the gut and a severed hand," Windspirit Responded promptly.

Teval and Hakaya both heard the call, and quickly they rucked to sickbay, to find Seykai lying on a biobed with a knife wound to the gut and a missing hand, immediately Teval demanded from Gunther an explanation.

Gunther was quick with his explanation, Pat Weber and Keith Thatcher both ganged up on Seykai, they used an axe to cut off his hand, and it looks like they tried stabbing him in the chest and neck, but when that didn't work, they went for the gut instead.

Before Teval could do anything to stop her, Hakaya shove him out of the way and promptly stormed out of sickbay.

Siaxx blinked as she heard the report from the security officer. "Thanks Windspirit, you need anything from me?" she inquired before she tapped her combadge. "Dvald to Yamaguchi, Torilla. I need you down in sickbay RFN."

Torilla's response was instant. "On my way.."

A minute or so later as the doors opened and in came Torilla Yamaguchi. "Talk to me goose?"

Teval was too angry to speak, so Gunther spoke first, "Pat Weber and Keith thatcher ganged up on Seykai Ferian, cutting off his hand with an axe, and stabbing him in the gut with a knife, i think they tried to cut his throat and stab him in the chest, but that failed for whatever reason."

Teval responded with a low growl, "Its because Kurokuri like us have wider ribs than normal, so that there is very little space in between, an our bones are far far stronger than normal species, plus our neck is protected with a flexible but extremely strong cartilage. Its no surprise that a knife would be of little use."

Torilla Yamaguchi stood there, completely speechless, as she simply could not believe such a horrific event had taken place aboard this ship.

"Oh wow... I can't believe it.." she paused. "So... its an attempted murder charge along with ....." she paused a second time. "What other charges can we throw at them?" as she looked over at the small being, fighting for his life, then she turned back to Teval. "Throw the hardest book you can find Chief." she said to Gunther Von Estling. "I want their fates to be so long... that they never see the light of day again.."

Teval didn't say anything as he simply left the room, unable to stand it anymore.

Yamaguchi watched Teval leave in silence. "this is just unbelievable." she paused as she recalled that she had seen this coming. "Anything else we need to chat about Chief?"

Gunther shook his head," Other than the fact that this is an unholy mess, I have no idea how we are going to press this one without an official investigation without revealing the face that Seykai is on the ship."

"We can't hide this.." Yamaguchi responded. "These two idiots have placed us all in trouble..." she sighed. "If command gets wind of this... any of this... we'll be at the center of a truly ungodly shitstorm.." the taller woman sighed. "I'm open to ideas.."

Guther didn't have the faintest idea, so he commented offhandedly, "Turf the idiots out an airlock and call it an accident."

Torilla nodded. "Sounds good.. Its our last chance anyway.... erase them from the ship systems and call them AWOL or missing." she shrugged, not out of indifference but from helplessness, they were now truly out of options.

Teval walked into his quarters to hear the sound of a weapon loading. Looking in the bedroom, he saw hakaya with her rifle, loading a single round into it. She looked at Teval, saying," You know we are out of options Teval."

Teval nodded, and picked up the other round that lay on the table, saying," Hakaya, where did you get this."

Hakaya shrugged," I have my sources, but you know what it is."

Teval nodded," The chemical agent round, used specially for our weapon types, using a transporter attachment, the weapon beams an impossible to detect chemical agent right into the victim, that within hours, causes the victim to have a heart attack, or whatever other ill effects that we desire, the transporter beam is too small for sensors to detect, and there is virtually no chemical residue left in the victim, and no bullet, perfect for assassinations." He then looked at Hakaya, saying, I'm guessing Kurso provided them for us if we needed to discreetly eliminate an obsidian order agent huh, so what chemical did you put in here."

Hakaya nodded, as she let the bolt close on her rifle, saying, "Its a type of hallucinogen, it will basically cause them to go mad and attack eachother, and they wont stop until they are dead, I also have a heart attack round, set so that the target will suffer a heart attack."

Teval casually picked up his own weapon from the corner, and proceeded to load the round into his own weapon, saying, "Your cruel, but it works."

Weber looked at Thacher, whom sat across from him in the brig, saying," You are an idiot, I cant believe I let you drag me into this."

Thatcher looked at Weber, saying, "Go fuck yourself asshole, our supposed to be my bitch anyway."

Weber stood up and got into thatchers face, saying," Fuck you fatty," as he proceeded to land a punch square into thatchers face. Immediately thatcher fought back and the two started punching eachother and at one point, thatcher got his head banged into a wall, he then bulldogged Weber to the ground and started choking him to death. The current brig guard, whom just so happened to be Nat Weber, went to try and rescue his brother, and forgetting what setting his phaser was on, he deactivated the forcefield and shot at thatcher, but his poor aim caused him to hit Pat Weber instead, killing him. Thatcher then got up and attempted to charge down pat weber, and pat weber fired again, killing thatcher.

Meanwhile, Teval and Hakaya, where watching from the scopes of their rifles, with Hakaya commenting," Well, that worked more beautifully than I would have ever expected, looks like the dum dum brig guard did the job for us."
