Lieutenant John Sheridan had changed out of his uniform after going off duty and he sometimes tended to spend his evenings in the Green Dragon as he liked to keep an eye on the place.

Tonight he found himself playing a game of poker with five other people including an attractive redhead who'm he was sure was a Marine, she had the body type for it and she had the attitude of a Marine in that she tolerated no crap from anyone.

"You cheat!" one of the players angrily challenged the redhead. "You're nothin' but a slimy cheat."

"Ed... What an ugly thing to say to a lady.." Sheridan responded quietly, with a knowing smile on his face. "Y'Know Ed... you're mouth is about you land you in places your body can't go."

Olga looked at Sheridan and smiled "Thank you but I can handle people like him."

Sheridan regarded the redhead. "You did win the last hand... nice flush by the way..." he turned his head. "Now Ed.... kindly go get the lady her choice of drink... and mind your manners... or what she'll do to you will be nothing compared to what I do to you."

The guy named Ed got up and fled. "So... ma'am... will you stay for another round...?"

The three others were all watching, quietly amused.

Olga was still smiling at the events in the Dragon. "Well, I have a little extra money now, so sure. Go ahead and deal 'em Sir."

"I tend to leave the rank in the office ma'am." he addressed the Marine politely. "I like the ambiance most nights.... but I must apologize for Ed Hawkson. His outburst will not happen again.."

Olga laughed "I'm sure they wouldn't. And please call me Olga."

The guy named Ed came back with drinks for everyone and since he didn't know what they all preferred, he got an order of Mikes Hard Lemonade for everyone.

"Right then..." Sheridan began dealing the cards as he took a drag of his drink. "Ed... much to learn...you still have.." he commented evenly. "Alright.." he watched as everyone gathered their cards, he plucked a coin from his stash. "Ten."

Olga looked at her cards then threw in ten and then another ten. "I see your ten and raise you another ten."

Sheridan almost smiled, someone with some backbone at last and the night was young. "I'll see you're then and raise you.." he selected the chips he wanted. "and a hundred more."

"I'm out." one guy tossed in his cards and so did a second. before long it was just Sheridan and Olga. "So... ma'am, I guess its just you and me."

Olga threw in a hundred and then threw in one hundred more. She looked up at Sheridan and smiled "Play big or go home."

"Indeed.." Sheridan tossed in another hundred and then he called. He watched her work. "I'll see your two hundred... and two hundred more." he then slowly smiled deviously.

Olga sighed "Okay, two hundred back in." she stated. "I'll have to call since that is the end of my money."

Sheridan showed his hand as he looked at hers. "You fought well darlin'." he commented as he gathered his chips. He then handed her three separate stacks of coins, so she could continue playing. "You made it interesting." he added. "Can I buy the lady a drink?" he inquired.

Olga looked at the stack of chips and then at Sheridan. "Vodka on the rocks please." She put a stack of aside. "Alright, deal again."

Sheridan flagged down a waiter. "a round please.. one vodka on the rocks and mikes hard for everyone else." he commented, the waiter nodded as he rushed off. Sheridan began to deal the cards a,d the betting repeated itself except two of the guys were cleaned out completely.

Sheridan regarded Ed who was busy staring at the busty Marine female. "Looks like its you and me handsome.." he addressed her.

"Ed... what an ugly thing to say..." Sheridan rumbled. "I'll raise you four hundred." as he tossed in a quarter of his chips. "and i'll call while I'm at it."

Olga sat back and just watched. She was surprised at Sheridan's aggressive play style.

Sheridan looked at Ed's cards as he bowed out. "I fold... and I'm broke." he growled. "you're an asshole Sheridan.."

"Haters gonna Hate.." he responded. "Now Ed.... what an igly thing to say.... "

"You're such an ass man.."

"We're not friends anymore?" Sheridan sighed. "Y'know... Ed. If I did not think you was not my friend... I don't think I could bear it?"

"Well, since you put the two of us in the poor house at least you could do is buy us another round of drinks." Olga winked at Sheridan before putting down her vodka in one chug.

Ed looked at her before he got up and stomped off in a huff. Sheridan shrugged. "Waiter. another Vodka on the rocks for the lady." he commented evenly.

"Right away." and the man departed.

"With all the money you put in, I don't think anyone else wants to play you." Olga told Sheridan.

"Heh.." Sheridan responded. "Now.. I will find other things to do with my winnings.."

"I could tell you the smart thing to do is go back to your quarters and save your winnings but you don't want to do something like that." Olga told Sheridan while drinking her vodka. "Nice drink, thank you for buying it."

"What... add this cash to the rest of my winnings?" he inquired. "I can spend a little... I did win it all from these kind and wonderful folks..." he indicated everyone around him. "some nights, they make money off me and some days I make it off of them.."

"We know what kind of night tonight was." Olga stated while taking in more drink. "So besides taking money from fools, what else do you do for fun?"

"Well. that sometimes depends on my mood... but most of the time, I prefer to sit back quietly in here and keep an eye on the crowd. but since this place is under new management, I've found my evenings are boring... so I'm looking for new hobbies.... you have any ideas?"

"Are you kidding?" Olga asked. "My hobby was to com here and cause trouble. Now that's over and I need something to do."

Sheridan regarded her. "Considering the Sergeant Major owns the place now, with license from the skipper... I'm not about to go tangle with him... what about you?"

Olga put away more vodka. "Are you kidding me? Duval knows me by my first name. He has enough dirt on me already to throw me out of the Corp."

"Seriously... Go ask the Barkeep to get the owner of the establishment.."

Just then the doors opened and in walked Duval, he stopped at the door and he looked around, setting his sights on his targets, he came over as he regarded Olga. "Ms Vaal, are you behaving?" he inquired with a good natured smile.

"Yes Sergeant Major." Olga replied.

"Oh good... no worries then... I'll leave you to your drink..." Duval looked at Ed Hawkson. "You however.. come with me."

Hawkson went pale as he rose to his feet, and followed Duval off towards the bar.

Sheridan regarded Vaal. "See what I mean..."

"Yes, it's like he is a whole different person." Olga told Sheridan.

"He likes a quiet environment, lets the locals enjoy themselves in peace... "The area with the bull however... he's left that alone.." Sheridan commented. "Do you wanna head down to the holodeck... I feel like flying and... I find it best to go flying with someone.... you wanna share?"

Olga raised her eyebrows. "Lead the way Sir."

"I leave the sir at the office... when I'm not on duty, I prefer John... makes me feel like I'm human and not a thing to be hated... y'know?"

"And you can call me Olga." She told Sheridan. "You don't have to worry about what rank I am because it frequently changes."

"So... Olga... nice name...." he responded. "You always in trouble or something?" he inquired. "maybe I need to... give you something new to do..."

"I don't get in trouble that often." Olga admitted. "It is just when I do I tend to get into deep trouble."

"What... you could come home with me... this way I can keep you out of trouble... and you have a better evening."

"Or get me into a new kind of trouble." Olga stated. "Sure, why not?" She stated cavalierly.

Sheridan rose to his feet and he led Olga out of the lounge, his destination was the holodeck.

Olga chugged down her vodka as she followed Sheridan out.
