The Red King - Part Two

Mission: Mission 19: Taking out the Garbage
Location: Various Locations - USS Roanoke
Timeline: 2100Hrs - December 24th, 2390

Lt Commander Siaxx Dvald was looking at the pizza she was making, she had no idea of where Shonax had gotten to and she missed him. "Kitty?" she inquired. "Where are you?"

Meanwhile, Shonax was having fun with Silversnow.

Hakaya was busy making dinner, while Teval and Karryn where cuddled up on the couch, snoozing, when Hakaya began to hear weird noises coming from the closet. The only thing she could think of was one of the cats had gotten into something. Three of the kittens where curled up in a basket sleeping, with the fourth one lying on the end of the couch, near Teval and Karryn. Hakaya figured it could only be Silversnow. Considering that neither her nor her brother wore clothing, there was very little in the closet. Looking behind the footlocker which contained some of their things, she surprised both Silversnow and a Bengal cat having sex in the back of the closet.

Recognizing the Bengal as Shonax, Hakaya tapped her combadge, "Hakaya to Siaxx, You mind telling me why your cat is screwing Silversnow in my closet."

Siaxx blinked as she coughed on the chunk of food she was eating as she spat it out. "Wai...What?" she coughed. "Shonax isn't even home... lovely.."

Hakaya rolled her eyes," Yeah, he is here all right, having a little fun."

Teval, whom heard Hakaya talking, woke up from his snooze, also waking Karryn up. Karryn sat up while Teval went over to Hakaya, curious. He then saw what Shonax and Silversnow where doing, commenting," Lovely, as if we didn't have enough little ones to deal with."

Siaxx's voice came from the com system. "I'm on my way."

A few minutes later there was a beep at the door.

Hakaya was the first one to answer, she didn't attempt to break it up, just leaving them to it. She looked through the open door and seeing Siaxx, she said," Oh Siaxx its you, yeah, they are in the closet."

"Okay... are they still having their fun?" Siaxx inquired.

Hakaya nodded," Interrupting is a good way to get bit, so I'm not that interested in stopping them at the moment."

"Fair enough.." Siaxx commented. "At least I know where he is..." she paused. "I thought I locked my door this morning... or maybe Shonax slipped out behind me..."

Hakaya shrugged, "It happens, well, I have dinner to finish anyway." Hakaya moved into the kitchen, while Karryn was holding and petting one of the purring kittens. Teval was busy brushing his fur.

"Okay.... mind if I help myself to a drink?" Siaxx inquired. "While we wait.."

"What do you want," Hakaya asked as Teval asked," Hey Hakaya, can you hand me the rum bottle please."

Hakaya pulled the bottle and a glass out of the cabinet and gave it to Teval, whom was now brushing his hair. Teval hadn't cut his hair since before they left the starbase, and as a result it was now down to the middle of his shoulder blades.

Siaxx replicated herself a glass of orange punch while she settled in to wait for Shonax to finish his fun with the other kitty. "Shonax... seriously.."

Silversnow wandered out of the closet, purring and very content. Meanwhile Teval poured himself some rum, and took a drink.

Shonax slowly followed the female kitty out of the closet, he too was very happy and contented. Siaxx polished off her drink as Shonax spotted her, he then made his way over to her. "Meow?"

Siaxx reached down as she gently picked him up. "Shonax, you make my brain hurt..." she commented as she ran her fingers gently behind his ears. "Thanks guys for .... finding him for me." Siaxx commented. "Now I will need to make sure my door stays locked properly."

Hakaya commented from the kitchen, " yeah, I'll be giving silversnow the morning after pill anyway, but yeah, I usually keep my door open, because these rooms don't easily fit four of us very easily, and Aerins quarters are just across from ours."

"Fair enough." Siaxx responded. "They both seem to be happy about what happened... so I'll leave it be... asides from making sure my door is properly locked." and with that the Bolian turned and departed, her kitty in hands.

Siaxx went back home as she entered her quarters, she gently placed Shonax on the floor before he raced off under the table as she poked her head into the bedroom, Phoenix was lying on the bed with Dora curled up next to her, she thought the picture was simply adorable.
"Hey Jill... you'll never guess where Shonax was.... or what he was doing when they found him.."

"Ya need ta get him under a leash," Phoenix replied with a laugh.

"Yeah... He was getting it on with Hakaya's kitty.." Siaxx sighed softly. "Hows Dora?"

"Oh she's fine. Just fed her some milk. Now she'd cuddled up with me for a nap," Phoenix spoke very happily. "When ya comin' home?"

"Well... I'm gonna go visit with Hakaya and company for awhile...." she commented. "I do need to get out so I'm gonna take your advice.."

10 minutes later, Hakaya finished cooking the meal, and put together plates for herself, Teval, Karryn, and Aerin whom had just walked in. Hakaya made sure to give Karryn double helpings, since she was eating a huge amount when pregnant. Karryn was just about to enter her second month of pregnancy, which overall, was usually about 12 weeks for a kurokuri. She was indeed quick to get into her steak, tearing into it like a wild animal, while everyone else was a lot slower.

Siaxx had come back to Hakaya's place as she tapped the doorbell. wondering if she was still welcome.

Hakaya looked at the still open door, saying, "Oh, your back, you can come in." One of the kittens, which was near the door, mewed at her.

Siaxx nodded. "Well I figured I'd come visit." as she looked at the kitty who mewled at her. "Hi kitty." she commented as she sat down on the sofa as one of the kittens proceeded to climb into her lap.

Hakaya shrugged," Well We are just having dinner right now, there is still more though, you want any."

"Sure." Siaxx commented as she went over to the table, one of the kittens in her arms. "What did you guys have?" she inquired.

"Roast beef, potatoes, garlic bread, and a salad," Hakaya replied simply.

"Mmm... sounds lovely." the Bolian smiled as she proceeded to help herself. "Nothing like Roast beef and Garlic Bread." she commented as she sat down at the table as she began to eat the food she had gathered for herself.

Karryn managed to polish off her meal, then promptly went for seconds, causing Aerin to comment," And I thought she was a bottomless pit before."

"Nothing wrong with having a healthy appetite.." she commented. "Besides.. the food is great.." Siaxx commented after swallowing a mouthfull of roast beef. "Was this cooked or replicated.?"

Hakaya sighed," I dont like replicated, I gotta have real meat."

"Well.. I won't complain..." Siaxx commented. "I never argue with someone who feeds me real food." she added as she crunched into a large mouthful of garlic bread with roast beef.

Three of the kittens wandered over to the table, and mewed at no one in particular. Hakaya picked one up, and put it in her lap, occasionally petting the kitten. When Teval finished his meal, Karryn, whom was already done with seconds, grabbed Teval and held him in a great hug, and began to cuddle him. Teval didn't protest on the matter. One of the kittens sniffed around Siaxx's feet.

Siaxx looked down as she swallowed her mouthful of food. "Hey little guy... you hungry?" she inquired as she reached down and with come grace plucked the two remaining kittens up with both hands. "Well... let me share some roast beef with you." she turned to Hakaya. "If you don't object that is..."

Hakaya shook her head," I tend to give them at least some real food anyway, though keep in mind, that they have only just starting on the weaning process. They are only four weeks old now."

"Alright... I will give them a small amount." Siaxx smiled as she gently set both cats in her lap as she broke off two pieces of beef before feeding it to both kittens.
