Mission: Mission 17: The Drug-Dimmed Tide
Location: Various Locations - USS Roanoke
Timeline: 0900Hrs - December 13th, 2390

Master Chief Petty Officer Stephen McKnight who was better known as Orthos looked over at Daisy as a sigh escaped his lips. "Ever think it was just drug induced...?" he inquired

Daisy who was nude and on top of the ships struggled to sit up. "I'm not so sure." She mumbled while trying to open her eyes.

"Oh come on... you know the gas that got loose was part of it.."

"Even if it was, you don't do something you weren't inclined to do anyway." Daisy replied, eyes open now.

"Now whats that supposed to mean?" Orthos looked at her.

Daisy looked back at Orthos. "The Klingon Happy Broccoli breaks down a person's ability to resist impulsive behavior. In other words, something a person wants to do but normally has the reasoning not to." Daisy explained. "Let me put this in crude terms: we wanted to fuck each others brains out. I didn't rape the first male I came across and you didn't top the first woman you saw."

"I was tempted Daisy.... Goddammit you know how I hate the funny lettuce..." he looked at her as he let out a sigh. "It took all my control to get back here... is that a bad thing?"

Daisy thought about what Orthos said. "No, it's not. You did have some control." Daisy sighed "I don't blame you for being tempted. But you still held out for me." Daisy looked at Orthos and smiled.

"I'll admit... it took everything I had.." Orthos gently ran his hand over her shoulder. "I love you."

Daisy put her head on his hand. "Do we have to go to work?" Daisy asked. "I'd like to make love to you again. This time the right way."

"Nah." Orthos commented in answer to her first question. "Alright... " he smiled at her as he gently pulled her against him before giving her a kiss on the lips.

"Good" Daisy told Orthos. "Are you hungry? I could use an omelette."

"Alright.. my Omelette special?" he inquired as he indicated the kitchen.

"I love it when you cook." Daisy replied. "It'll be extra special if ya do."

Orthos smiled as he went into the kitchen, so he could gather the ingredients and within ten minutes, he had started cooking as she smell of fresh food began to fill their quarters.

"Mmm. You are a true culinary artist." Daisy told Orthos. "After we eat," Daisy paused and smiled "we burn off our calories."

"Sounds good to me.." Orthos responded. "You are too kind... my kids and grandkids like my cooking.."

"Pfft! What's not to like?" Daisy rhetorically asked. "I'm so glad your here." Daisy moved and put her arms around Orthos as he cooked.

Orthos chuckled softly as he peeled the omelette off of the pan so he could start the second omelette

Daisy unlocked Orthos and grabbed the omelette. "I love these right off the grill." Daisy explained.

"Ham, cheese and eggs... is the best way to go for an omelette.."

Daisy smirked as she eat her meal. "And we know what we are having for dessert." Daisy gave Orthos a wide smile.
