Personal History Arlene was born on the Federation Embassy to Trill in 2360, immediately after her birth however she was put up for adoption, as her parents, a Trill General, and a Federation Ambassador/Starfleet Commodore, was trying to avoid a political mess. She was quickly adopted by the Mallory's and went to live with them on Luna.
Service Record Sometime after she turned 16 she applied to and was accepted into Starfleet Academy on Earth. Growing up she had taken up the hobby of scale modeling, so she entered into the Engineering track with high hopes that wouldn't be a wash-up and waste her life doing something she wasn't good at or didn't enjoy. Fortunately for her, Engineering seemed to be her thing. By the time she had graduated, she was more than proficient at her craft. As proficient as any fresh Ensign might be, and had the honor of being posted to Luna, as a junior engineer at one of the Starfleet yards there.
