Personal History T'Rae was born in 2348, the youngest of her siblings among the sands of Vulcan as her parents were trekking towards the Kin'Shara Temple across the Forge, it was a dangerous trek at the best of times but with an infant along, it would be exceptionally dangerous as T'Rae had been born several weeks early.

T'Rae survived the crossing of the forge and she grew up the much-loved child of two Vulcan parents, she knew they loved her even if they did not show it. While she was growing up, she decided to embrace her emotions while using logic to control them.

She went off to the academy in her early twenties as she was originally going to go into one of the merchant guilds and gain her own command that way until a pirate attack over Vulcan dissuaded her otherwise when she was able to assist in driving off said pirate attack in a Starfleet shuttlecraft. Along the way, she became a "V'tosh ka'tur" or Vulcan without logic as she found that a blending of emotion and logic together was the best way forward in life rather than logic alone.

T'Rae was only able to participate in the battle over Vulcan because they were short on skilled pilots and because she was learning how to fly.

Using the skills she had learned, she applied to and was accepted to Starfleet Academy. It was here where he met her future husband and father to her own children, one Cadet Daniel Yamaguchi, the two of them met when Daniel found himself being dragged into an incident to recover a stray Seh'lat which had gotten loose from its home and was now running amok in San Francisco.

He had assumed it would be simple but he was gravely mistaken when he found himself squaring off against a creature similar in size to a Kodiak bear but he was able to subdue the creature through some knowledge and a heck of a lot of luck, however he was able to win the greatest prize later on by impressing T'Rae with his wit and intellect rather than using a phaser to shoot the creature. What he did was simple, he fed the creature to prove to the Seh'lat that he was trustworthy.

This action impressed T'Rae for she knew that few could stand up to the might of an angry Seh'lat, it was this action that made her curious about him so she decided she wanted to know him better.

T'Rae found herself getting involved with the intelligent human male and two months after this she went through her Pon far, Daniel decided that he should escort her back to Vulcan so she could attend to her issues but she refused and instead chose him to help her, he almost refused because he didn't wish to take advantage of her in her weakened state. Even if she offered herself to him, he would still have refused her, such respect for her was something she didn't find every day so she found herself being drawn to him. She had no idea humans were capable of such restraint.

T'Rae realized she needed to teach him and show him how the mind meld worked and show him the depth of her feelings for him, needless to say, what followed was a deeply intimate act as the two of them shared their entire lives with each other, a year later Kodian came along, followed by several other children. Twins T'Pamsu and Michael, then Kalee and then T'Nae and lastly, she was pregnant with another child, a son this time, who they had yet to select a name for. They named their last child, Anthony for his grandfather.

T'Rae and Daniel, both joined the fleet in twenty-three seventy-two and her first assignment was to
the USS Betelgeuse as a junior officer, her husband went with her to this assignment and it was here they both faced the onslaught of the Borg and the Dominion, so they sent their family back to live with Daniel's parents on Starbase 82, so this could free up mom and dad to go fight the Federations enemies.

Both mom and dad survived but the USS Betelgeuse was very badly damaged during the battle for Cardassia, right at the end of the war and so both T'Rae and her husband were reassigned to Starbase Deep Space Nine, which at that time was under the command of Colonel Kira Nerys, this was because then Captain Sisko had ascended to be with the Bajoran Prophets and she remained here for three years during which time she and her budding family would watch as Bajor joined the Federation, First Minister Shakaar was assassinated by a Trill Security Officer due to a parasite issue which had already destroyed the man that Shakaar was.

The assignment fitted her chosen profession of Tactical quite well as she was never short of work to do or things to deal with.

The assignment to Deep Space Nine came with a chance encounter with an old friend, Leon Marquez who was seeking a new direction for his life, the three of them ended up discussing the matter in Quarks that evening over drinks and while T'Rae knew she could not take away his pain, she could help him in other ways. She offered herself to him and Marquez refused her offer, he was polite but he saw it as he would not come between a husband and wife couple so she decided instead to mention Deneva, her adopted homeworld and it was there in the mountains, at the monastery in the Longhorn mountain range. Marquez accepted and departed the next morning.

Her first major separation from her husband occurred around this time when he would participate in the first three month exploration mission into the Gamma Quadrant under the command of Commander Elias Vaughn, to make matters worse, Daniel had no idea that Kodian was being born on DS9 during the parasite crisis, but this was not the fault of T'Rae as the communication link had gone dark. Starfleet later found out that it had been destroyed because of a subspace anomaly that moved an entire star system back to the mouth of the Wormhole. In this case, it was Idran system whereas before it was over a half dozen light years.

When word of the crisis broke, T'Rae had no way to warn her husband of the impending threat so she took steps to protect herself and her children, including Anthony who was newly born at that point.

T'Rae watched as Captain Sisko returned from the Celestial temple, an act which had deep significance to the young officer and her husband, also there was the Ascendancy crisis which happened the following year but by twenty-three seventy-eight, T'Rae and her husband had earned a few accolades and awards for their service here and they decided it was time to move on to another posting as they needed a better environment for their children as Kodian was now thirteen years old and T'Pamsu and Michael were both eleven years of age but for children, it was very easy to get hurt on that station.

T'Rae and her husband stuck in for a transfer and almost immediately it was approved, so the small family was packed up and bundled off to Starbase 10. The assignment on the starbase was a dull one for T'Rae at first but as time went by it became more interesting as a Vulcan male began chasing after her, thinking she was single and unmated but much to her consternation, when he found out she was mated and happy. He desired her all the more and even went so far as to challenge her husband for her.

T'Rae was most displeased but her husband thought the whole thing was amusing, nevertheless, Daniel stuck in for a transfer for them both simply because he would not be pushed around by anyone. T'Rae also learned blacksmithing in an old style forge as she was truly curious about it. Daniel Yamaguchi meanwhile had crafted the two elegant looking daggers he said were from a book series called Long of the Rings.

Their request came through and their next posting was a Galaxy Class Dreadnought, the USS F Scott Fitzgerald under the command of Captain Gaius Reyf. It was here that T'Rae found herself serving with one of Starfleets greatest officers in that he found himself working with a very well seasoned crew and she remained here for another six years, watching as Captain Reyf was promoted to Admiral and Commander Prentice was promoted to succeed him as Captain of the ship, for his part T'Rae grew from an unsure young woman to a seasoned command veteran, with several awards and commendations to boot, her sniper's certification was among them as the TR-116 grew to become her favored weapon of choice, along with the daggers her husband had made for her and her long-sword.

In Twenty Three Eighty-Five, Daniel and T'Rae who was one rank grade ahead of her husband were transferred from the USS F Scott Fitzgerald to the newly commissioned USS Alexander the Great, A Sovereign II Class starship with the intent of shaking her down and getting her ready for service but this was a temporary assignment that became permanent and the USS Alexander the Great and her crew was assigned to chart sections of the Gum Nebula. T'Rae for her part was originally the Chief Tactical Officer but was promoted to Executive Officer when the old department head, a Lt Commander Alison Merrik departed for another assignment, T'Rae was promoted to replace her as Executive Officer while assigned to the Alexander the Great.

T'Rae did some online courses in Engineering and Operations and after about two years, she could serve in those departments as if they were her chosen professions, also he kept her weaponsmithing skills sharp as ever and before leaving the Betelgeuse, she crafted a truly beautiful looking two-handed sword, she had based the design from the lord of the rings from several centuries ago, something called 'Glamdring'. She presented it to Chief Engineer Dagmar Horn as a gift

Dagmar had been speechless, this gift was truly priceless but T'Rae felt her friend was worthy. "I am not worthy of such a gift.." the Norwegian woman had said at the time.

"You saved my children... There are few who are worthy and you... should have this.."

Horn accepted the gift which she found was no display piece, it was a real weapon and she resolved to learn how to wield it.

in early twenty-three ninety, the USS Alexander the Great had returned and returned to the Federation and Commander T'Rae was offered her own command, the Captain of the USS Alexander the Great was retiring and T'Rae was asked to replace her, she eagerly accepted and so Daniel remained with her as Chief Operations Officer, along with their small brood of children as well.

After having served alongside his wife for almost his entire career, Daniel was offered the posting of Strategic Operations Officer onboard the USS New Hampshire, he wasn't offered a promotion to go with his post so he discussed it with his wife.

T'Rae told her husband to follow his own heart but in the end, he decided not to go, for he was in no rush to be parted from his wife and children, considering his wife was a Vulcan. Some said it was because he was weak where others said he had little choice. For him, the matter was simple as he was a family man.

He did not like recent events in the Federation as he was noticing a great many scandals happening in the Federation Council and in the upper echelons of Starfleet Command.

T'Rae had noticed it too and to say she wasn't concerned was a serious understatement. Recently she was assigned to the Roanoke's battlegroup not as part of the screen but rather to provide extra security in case a situation with the USS Fairchild went bad. However, she's enjoying spending time with some of her extended family, letting both sets of children get to know each other.

When the Alexander the Great went in for reassignment to a new Captain and crew because she was re-designated as a Light Cruiser rather than a Heavy Cruiser thanks to the military reorganization act. She and the rest of the crew were reassigned to the Guardian Class. USS Shield of Wolves. She remains in command of this ship to this day.
