| Personal History | Born 2354 to James and Heather Sinn. She and her twin grew up much loved and happy girls on Alpha Centauri IV, with its warm climate and tropical expanses of warm and shallow beaches. Both girls grew up in this paradise of a world but they also grew apart as Mirith was more restrained then her thrill-seeking twin, Miranda went into shuttles and later starfighters while Mirith went into Operations as she was a computer nerd. Both girls ended up in the academy late in 2371 as they both skipped a grade due to overachieving and intelligence in class. Here she and her twin learned a great deal in life and in starfleet, she graduated right in the middle of the Dominion War as she was assigned to the USS Mas Ramdar as one of their shuttle pilots, she would end up meeting he man who would later become her husband after she saved his life from a piece of falling debris which burned her hands and arms within an inch of her life. Greg Turner realized that she couldn't fly her shuttle, not with her hands so he ended up flying the shuttle and all forty personnel that had been crammed aboard her. Greg and Miranda took the time to get to know each other but their relationship didn't develop seriously until after the end of the war when they both realized the other was still alive. Miranda had remained aboard the newly commissioned Sovereign class USS Mas Ramdar, she rose through the ranks and positions almost at a meteoric pace to keep up with wartime losses, somehow she lived while a lot of other pilots got killed. After the end of the war she and Greg began dating but their relationship was a quiet and gentle thing, to be nurtured and developed slowly as both needed time to adjust to their wartime losses and the like. in 2380, Miranda became pregnant with her first child, it was around this time that Greg proposed to her, she accepted and the two were wed in quiet ceremony but the reception had over a thousand people invited and needless to say it produced quite a mess but a lot of friendships were made and a lot of fun was had by all. Thankfully it didn't get out of hand. Four years later Miranda was reassigned and promoted so she could follow her husband from posting to posting but thanks to the military reorganization act of 2391, she went from wearing marine green to starfighter command blue with an all new rank set. She was promoted to Senior General and she was asked to take over command of the new department to help build it up, she would have two stars for the rank but as the numbers grew, it would eventually become more and more until it would become a five-star rank. For now, however, Miranda is based at Starbase 47, with her children beside her. Her husband, however is a long distance away as he was based on Deneva, he disliked Earth which was something that Miranda thought was highly amusing. |
